Lightly active. I don't workout, as I work a full time job, and am always on my feet.

I don't record excersize calories as that is figured into TDEE. I just eat my 1700 calories :)

Any overnight gain is always water and waste :) However, it is fustrating. I lost, and lost well eating lower calories and didn't feel deprived... but the TDEE people roped me in with the "you need to eat more"... Bologna! Lol

Flax Pancakes: 3 tbs ground flax meal 2 eggs (I use the yolk, but I think you can use just the white) 1 tsp baking powder 1 tbs water Cinnamon (or other spices) to taste Whisk all ingredients together and fry like a traditional pancake. Top with fresh fruit, pb, or syrup! Yummy :)

I weigh every day, but I only log when my weight goes down... so if you were to see my progress chart it looks like stair steps but in reality would be zig zag's up and down by several ounces.

Basically clean eating. I have some dietary restrictions because of food intolerances so I don't eat dairy or wheat. I make 80% of the food I eat and the rest are some things I can't live without... like Nalley's Vegitarian Chilli. The most encouraging thing is that the more weight you loose, the bigger difference each 10lbs make. You really couldn't tell I was loosing weight from 140 to 130... but in 180 to 170 it looked like I had lost alot more than I had.

I'm following a plant centered diet. I eat meat, but the majority of my calories and nutrients comes from plants. So far, I have lost 70lbs (as of today!) and plan on continuing for ever :)

Yes because the obvious answer is that the weight you lost must have been a fluke.... The sad thing is, she has been on many diets like this before. She once told her dad (my grandfather) that she didn't know why she was overweight because all she ate was carrots. His response: You must be eating too many damn carrots!

She definitely has a lack of basic understanding about human physiology. I tried to share with her what I did/am doing, but she says she is "happy" with what she is doing. The thing is... her scale weight is going down, but everytime I see her, her BF% has gone up... she looks heavier than before :\
