7lbs in a month is awesome! Well done, and try not to get disheartened! I've been on here since November and only lost 2 lbs, that's when you need to wonder haha! :)

OMG yes, great job, you should be really proud :)
-
Great goal! You seem really motivated - good attitude! Stick with it I'm sure you can get there! :)

Have you had your thyroid checked? I was going through the same thing, went to the doctors and had my blood tested, underactive thyroid. It's the main symptom, unexplained weight gain and difficulty losing weight. It really lowers your metabolism. Might be worth getting checked? Hope things pick up :)

In all honesty, the middle one - although out of left and right I actually prefer right. Which surprises me as at the moment i'm inbetween middle and right, and want to get back to be being between middle and left :P Oh, us women.

Wow, fantastic results, you look great! xx

Great idea! :) I'm Jess, 19, currently at 148lbs, my heaviest was 150 and struggling to shift the pounds - doctors investigating thyroid but I will try to push myself harder with a realistic goal of 142lbs in 7 weeks :) I'm 5"4 and the only measurements I know are that I have a 36" bust, 32" waist and 38" hips :) x

I'm going to medical school to become a doctor which is my dream job! :) But other than that I'd love to be a TV chef and writer ;)

Good on you - my father is the same but I know many people with diabetes who carry on as normal - well done to you for having the power, you will feel better for it :)

My cousin tried to do the same and we did not judge him whatsoever, we just felt concern and overwhelming love for him and gratitude that he was ok. Hope you start to feel better soon, sending you love and positive thoughts. xxx

I just saw that but don't think I'd want my FB friends to see all that stuff! :)

I also live in England - what do you mean by 'certain sort of person?'. Maybe it's just where you live but perfectly normal people go to McDonalds here, including me sometimes! What is right for you might not be right for everyone else, it is rude to judge others in that way. It's a sad fact that unhealthy choices are…

27th October My dad! :)

I hope this doesn't offend you but I would be a little worried about the fact that she was willing to keep defying you. However much I wanted these things when I was younger I would never have gone behind my parents backs when they had said no. Don't just accept that it's 'crack to teenagers', take charge and discipline…

That's lovely, thank you for sharing! I am so glad you feel better! I too am guilty of feeling like this, always comparing myself to my slimmer friends but I am starting to come to your way of thinking! Thank you :)

I'm 19 and I can tell you me and mum were kinda like that too a couple of years back. She sat me down one day and told me how she felt. We had a long talk and both cried as she explained when her mum died in her 20's she regretted the arguments they had. That made me think and I made more of an effort to be with her. She…

I keep getting confused here as some people are talking UK 12 and some US 12 - am I right in thinking US 12 is bigger?
-
Well, for me, I'm a size 12 but I'm short so it is overweight for me. I look better at a 10. But in genera l don't view 12 as overweight, the average UK size is 14!

I am so sorry for your loss, and feel your pain. My boyfriend's dog died on Friday, and she was like my own :( As hard as it is, it will get easier. I lost my own dog 5 years ago and time is the biggest healer! There will come a time when you can smile and think of the happy memories - I hope this brings you some comfort.…

Fantastic, what an achievement - well done to you! x

@KrayKira - exactly right - both haha!

Hey, I'm 19 and from England. And I'm with you on the McDonalds - omg I can't stop myself sometimes aha! Friend request sent :D x

I'm in! Sounds good to me! x

DeathIsMyGift - Yeah very true, I don't like it when people justify their opinions just because they know someone.
-
DeathIsMyGift I understand what you're saying but you can still empathise with people, and try to understand them. That's like saying you have no opinion on heterosexuality? You must!

Woah, some of these posts are just silly. This is not a Straight vs Gay thread :/
-
Thank you - you too and your hair is a beautiful colour! :) x

Lovely figure and tan! :)
