I like Essie nail polish. I tend to use pale and nude colors, so when it chips and I am to lazy to fix or take it off, it's not that obvious.

There is a significant difference between my HRM and the arc trainer calorie count. The arc trainer is higher.

Do a search, there are hundreds of threads on this subject. It is a dangerous, fad diet. Don't do it!

Here is something I learned at work. {it shook my brother up when I told him. He is now 30lbs lighter} For every extra pound of weight we carry, it adds 4 extra lbs of pressure on weight bearing joints, such as knee, ankle, feet, and hips. So for 100 extra lbs of weight = 400 extra lbs of pressure on joints. For every…

My workout clothes all had a tie at the waist. At least the tie kept the pants from fallling down. Tops, can be a lilttle big. I kept my wardrobe to a bare minimum until I reached goal. Outlets stores, Costco, TJ max, and a few pieces from Goodwill, I picked up a few things with tags still attached.

If I knew how, or took the time to learn how, to post pics I would. But I am a Yankee fan all the way! {and there is still hope!}

^^ This^^ It's not fair to the other people in the gym. But if it is just a head cold, and you can workout at home, then by all means go for it. You know your body best.

I have a polar HRM. It does not synch with MFP [or at least I don't know if that is an option here}. But it works the best for me. I wasted money on 2 other brands before I ended up with polar. Also, most gym cardio equipment, {in my gym} is designed to pick up polar signals.and display the reading on the display screen.…

You need to learn how to eat in the real world. Keep your calories low, but nutritious, during the day, prior to your meal. But do not go the day w/o eating…

Ditto for me as well. I also like Lulelemon, {sp?}, and Lucy, but too expensive. So I usually put them on my bday, christmas lists.

I recently purchased a blend tech from Costco. {I think it was around $350} My son uses it almost every morning for smoothies. I have been experimenting with creamed soups, using non fat evaporated milk. I also made a couple different pasta sauces. Still experimenting, but so far I like it and highly recommend it.

I agree, and if this is a departure from your normal, you could have a small blockage some where along the line. This is something you need to discuss with your MD. There are a bunch of foods that will help pass things along, {I just read that non grounded flax seeds are great for this} as well as over the counter stool…

Bump, I am always on the look out for a healthy homemade soup. I need it to be low salt, so even canned soup is a no go.

I discovered MFP when I started maintenance. In my humble opinion, losing is easier than maintenance. Its a constant yo-yo. I use MFP faithfully, daily. I think logging is the one thing that works for me. Seeing your food intake in black and white in front of you, helps to keep me accountable to maintain that happy balance.

I would love to do this run. I was born and raised in NYC. I think I will look into it for next year. Thanks for the info.
