Bottled water, from my home. I can't stand Starbucks! My husband loves it, so every sat morning, after the gym, I bring my bottled water, and banana, while he drinks that god awful liquid they call coffee.

I did not take that comment in any other way than what you intended!! I laughed because my husbands always has a colorful comment when someone pulls out a check book at Costco or the grocery store, and holds up the line to fill it out.

That made me laugh. There is a rare occasion that I still need to write a check, and my husband laughs at me, that I still use the checkbook.

I do both to keep it interesting. But, according to my HRM, I burn more calories running then I do on the elliptical. Its not a huge difference, but enough that I notice a difference in total calorie burn. I feel, that different cardio, works different muscles. So I like to change it up throughout the week.

I am 5'5", 135lbs. I have been doing a modified C25K. Yesterday I ran 2.34 miles at a 10.20 pace, [according to runkeeper} It was about 25-30 minutes including warm up and cool-down. I burned as per my HRM approx 250 calories.

I just heard on the news's medical segment, that studies have shown, those who log your daily intake, lose 11% more weight than those who do not log. I have been maintenance for over 4 years and I still log, 90% of the time.

I lost my weight over 5 years ago and have been maintaining for over 4 years now. I still weigh and measure 90% of my diet. Fruit and vegetables are my only "eyeball" measurements.
