Stacey, my goal is 2.2 lbs per week. I am on a 1700 calorie goal and have no problem reaching that and not getting to hungry, I have only been at this steady since the beginning of the year make time to exercise even if nothing more than walking the dog. Thank you all so much for the comments, I am just in the beginning stages of weight loss, and diet control with exercise. I am 6ft, and 242 lbs, and trying to maintain a 1700 calorie diet, It is very manageable as long as I exercise. I feel ok with occasionally going over as long as I get right back to it the next day.

Dream about tropical vacations, Even though I am old I am finishing up my Bachelors Degree so going to the student rec center and using the pool and hot tub and seeing what I used to look like and the guys my age and older how fit some of them are gives me incentive. Oh and did I mention the hot tub. lol

Greetings all, I am a 50 year old 32 year veteran firefighter/EMT-I. Ran my own constructions business for years, retired from that Quit smoking and now teaching fire/EMS almost full time. Have gotten that middle aged belly and lost lots of muscle. Trying to get healthy again.
