  • My goal BMI is 19.0. Body fat wise I'd like to get to between 13-20%. I'm at 28% now and its embarrassing to think that about a third of me is fat! (well according to navy/army standard calculations I am, I've yet to have it tested in a gym)
  • Firstly I have a story much like yours from the health perspective. I was really tiny as a child, was diagnosed with celiac last year, and I am definitely not that tiny anymore (I gained 30lbs but honestly some of that was just poor eating and puberty). One major thing I learned is that even if I can eat it doesn't mean I…
  • ohmygosh I have this happen to me too! One guy I defriended because it was borderline inappropriate and really I don't need that :P and yes, I personally try and keep my posts at least a little centered on diet/exercise but its a lifestyle change so it runs the gamut. You have control of your mfp, delete them if it gets on…
  • I just posted my weight on the week 3 thread...sorry I didn't know you tried to put up the chart by 9.
  • 144.8lbs...I lost 0.8,....omgosh I am so over these fractions of a lb!!!!!
  • Starting weight = 148.0lbs First weigh-in = 146.0lbs Second weigh-in = 145.6lbs Current weight = 144.8lbs I am SO FRUSTRATED. The numbers are going down but I am nowhere near enough to goal to be inching down by fractions of a lb!
  • I'm not entirely sure how accurate it is either. I know my frame from other sources so idk. I do know that my wrists lose fat first (if there's any to spare on them). My bracelets start falling off before my jeans ;)
  • Small frame size :) when i really put my mind to it I say it comes off easily but not at a fast rate....but since my frame is so small it shows up quicker (I've lost 6lbs and already my co-workers are asking if I'm skinnier)
  • omgosh my ex was exactly like that! If he didn't work out over the summer he lost 20-30lbs....of muscle so he didn't like that...but ooooooooo it was aggravating!
  • veronika verterich :) miranda kerr
  • I had a really crummy day today but my workout definitely made me feel better :) and kept me away from all the negative ways I deal with frustration. Score for nsv! Now I need my motivation to tide me over this weekend because I want a better lose than 0.4lbs!
  • Good job Tayna and Eddie :) oh gosh I wish I was of any help I have no idea why the chart won't properly upload..maybe I'll play around with it tomorrow and see if I have any luck
  • You can totally tell the difference :) this gives me a bit of hope that people can tell the difference in me too...I've only lost 3kgs since starting mfp. You look gorgeous <3
  • it can vary a TON from person to person. For example I'm a size 4 in women's which some people on this thread have said is super skinny for them, yet my BMI says I'm a smidge overweight!
  • I echo above that it really depends on body frame and type and whatnot..but to answer your question this is what I would consider for ME (note; I'm 5'3" and have a small bone frame): 1. extremly fat - above a 15 2. fat - 15 (12) 3. overweight - 13 (10) 3. chunky - 11 or 9 (8 or 6) 4. normal - 7 or 5 (4 or 2) 5. skinny - 3…
  • I'm here :) I'm 5'3"
  • Starting weight at challenge: 148.0lbs First weigh-in: 146.0lbs Current: 145.6lbs (lose of 0.4lbs) Oh goodness that isn't good at all! I was flipping through my journals and realizing that while I was "under" I was eating a ton of junk and quite a bit of chocolate after dinner so I am going to stop eating at 8pm and double…
  • I'm also going to stick to the calories it allots me and not eat the exercise ones and see if that helps or hurts.
  • Starting weight - 148.0 First weigh-in - 146.0 Current - 145.6 (lose of 0.4lbs) now that's an eye opener..I only lost 0.4lbs! Definitely time to kick it up a notch! This week I'm doubling my cardio, making sure i drink all my water, and not eating after 8pm. Hopefully that will destroy whatever is holding me back :P i…

  • I am having such a chocolate kick...I'm "under my calories" from all this dancing but I seriously need to cut it out. Alas, my relationship with this beloved food will have to end :(
  • When I searched it I just used the Wii Fit estimate for hula hooping...you can search it in the cardio section of exercise. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but that is what I used.
  • I loved Bikram yoga...it makes you feel so much more toned. I went 5times in 2weeks and my weight didn't shift noticeably so I'd say as long as you are drinking enough water its fat you will lose. I wish i could do it all the time, but it is so expensive :P
  • Good job Tanya :) Today I woke up with a whole lot of motivation and tendonitis in my left ankle. Needless to say that is not a good combination...but I am going to do some cardio, just at the pace of a lame snail :P
  • I have quite the opposite issue, but one exercise that really works that area for me are planks and any variations on them...you can google search and find all sorts of videos for them...hope that helps!
  • I'm 5'3" and its set on 1200 (without exercise) to lose 1.4lbs per week....it won't go under 1200cals automatically so I guess that is the most "it" will let me lose a week ;P
  • This happens to me too! I'm usually a fairly light eater but for that one week I could eat all day and still be starving at night and I crave sweets which I don't usually want! The most annoying part is that it isn't just cravings, I am genuinely hungry :P And this oh-so-awesome month that week is extending from before my…
  • These are so fun to read :) I was out in tight yoga capris (definitely not the most concealing) and I totally had this guy giving me the "I've never seen a girl before" look. For winter that might as well been looking hot in a swimsuit. I almost burst out laughing, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings lol. The other is…
  • omgosh that's amazing :) you are at my goal
  • My goals for this week is to stop mindlessly snacking, get in all my workouts, and drink more water! ahhhh! I sort of feel like my 2lbs lose was lucky compared to last week's diaries. I don't want to revert back into fatland
