  • Girls are terrible. The best thing you can do is just be kind and act like it's not happening. They'll get used to your new skinny body and it wont be a thing anymore. Meanwhile, for what it's worth, *I'm* really happy for you!
  • 1. busted knee cartelidge 2. hernia 3. breast cancer Some might argue that the breast cancer wasn't caused by fat, but studies show that women who are overweight are more likely to get breast cancer.
  • Where is the LIKE button for all these awesome replies?! I find that anyone who ever wants to go to the gym with me wants to take it easy and gab the whole time and then go get a frozen yogurt afterward. I need a gym buddy who will be an animal with me. "Raaaaaaaah!" If anyne wants a new Raaah buddy, please friend me.…
  • I realized that a woman my height who weighs 150 lbs is supposed to eat 1500 cals a day to maintain that weight. So, when I want to lose wieght, I need to eat quite a bit less than 1500 cals. I go for 1200.
  • There's a grampa who swims at my gym and he definitely puts men to shame 20 years younger. Fit and confident! The thing we all adore about older men is that they behave like MEN and not little boys! Mature is sexy!
  • @tashmayers: just everything! Beautiful bride! Gorgeous!
  • Wow that body! Good work!
  • That dude looks badass on that hog!
  • Oh YEAH! That my life story! DENIAL! But hey dude - I can see your picture and you ARE a cute guy. Hear me and believe this, you are cute now, but you will be a KILLER when you lose your weight. You owe it to yourself to do that.
  • Super intelligent + quick wit = Attractive
  • Did anyone say EGG BEATERS? OMG - SO yummy! Low carb. Big yum!
  • OMG. I have actually NOT gone to events because I KNOW that my one camera-happy friend is going to snap away and then post post post on fb! HATE THAT! Also horrible, the owners at my zumba class take pictures and video of the class ALL the time and post them on fb and youtube! MORTIFYING! Hey! Skinny people - put your…
  • I think Seaside posted a cute piece of observational humor! And I totally agree!
  • I hear you loud and clear! ITs so much easier when your family is on board with your work! Maybe your dad is thinking he's actually saying, "Your size doesnt matter to me. You are beautiful as you are. I would love to spend time with you." Try not to be mad at your dad for wanting to spoil you fat! I agree with the gal who…
  • I think about cheese a lot. I dont think its the evil monster people make it out to be. I DO weigh it and I try to stick to 1 oz a day. I love me some cheese!
  • Hey! You know what tho, its coming back that is the key. I used to be sad that I tried and failed so many times until I realized that probably kept me from becoming super morbidly obese. Getting a grip on it every few years was a big help, actually. Skinny people do that all the time - live their lives and then decide to…
  • My giant boobs are still the exact same cup size even tho the band went from a 44 to a 38.
  • I'm so mad at him! BOOOOO! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I woudl cry and cry and never let it go. But then, I'm super immature! ;D
  • I took phentermine, ate properly, moderately exercised and lost a ton of weight. One morning I couldnt get out of bed. I thought I was having a stroke - I was dizzy and disoriented. I stopped taking it and gained back a TON of weight and looked like a fat, bloated, sick old woman. After THAT happened to me, a friend…
  • Ive noticed that when I'm in an exercise class, I have trouble locating myself in the mirror bcz I look so different. I'm looking for a very round, short haired brunette and then I see myself and say, "OH look at that strong, athletic looking girl! Thank GOD that's changed!" :::brag:::
  • My chiropractor is an exercise physiologist and he suggests the following for people who feel like they might hurt themselves running: Continue to work hard to eat healthy and lose weight - eat lots of protein (he says peanut butter is excellent) Lift weights with your legs so your leg muscles become strong and will absorb…
  • First of all, Mama - you are the BEST! Love you so much! YOu own this process! I did this before as well, and my conclusion for what I was doing is this: WHAT a spoiled, obnoxious little baby I was! Gimme gimme gimme! Typical day for Chunky Lori was: 2 sausage Mc Muffins for breakfast pot pie and 2 slices of buttery toast…
  • Ever watch that show Heavy, where the obese people live on a program where they exercise a BUNCH and all their meals are prepared for them? These folks are NOT being served their exercise calories. They are being served balanced 1200 calorie diets. And that's how they lose all that weight.
  • If I go to my Super Cool Fun Teenager Zumba Class where I come home with a sweaty, dripping ponytail, I count it as High Impact Aerobics. If I go to the calmer class as LA Fitness or the community center, I count it as Low Impact Aerobics. No matter who teaches it, zumba is a BLAST, isn't it?
  • Relax? Sister, I'm about as tightly wound as they come. ;D
  • There isn't ONE person on planet earth who is officially obese who is exercising a ton and eating 800 to 1000 calories per day and on a plateau.
  • Hey! Good point about surgery pumping up self esteem!
  • Oh yeah - one more thing, Mama Mia and everyone else: Do NOT do anything that makes you feel humiliated. Posting photos of your fat belly will make you feel bad about yourself. Doing stuff like that is a thing of the past. From now on, you're going to respect yourself and treat yourself like a dear friend that you protect…
  • Oh LORDY - I hear you on the belly fat problem! If I wear a big coat, I can pass for "Not Too Fat" BUT - I have this huge blooby belly and people ask me ALLLLL THE TIME when my baby is due. I'm so used to it that it doesnt even hurt my feelings anymore! I just say, "Oh - Im not preg, I've jsut lot a bunch of weight and my…
