  • "Wow, you have the perfect forehead." Ummm thanks, I try?
  • I have had trouble with my neck when doing sit-up/crunches. I have proper form but they still really hurt. So I stopped doing them. I will never do another sit-up or crunch. There are plenty of other ab exercises that don't hurt. Find some that work for you.
  • It's a tv show not a movie but "Bomb Girls." It was a CBC show that, unfortunately, was canceled after two seasons. A real shame - it was a really good show.
  • Yeah, this stuff is way dangerous. I think I could eat the whole jar.
  • Carole King - So Far Away Motion City Soundtrack - My Favorite Accident (the acoustic version is best) Peabo Bryson - If Ever You're In My Arms Again Ne-Yo - So Sick Yellowcard - Only One Tyrese - How You Gonna Act Like That Train - Bruises Sugarcult - Pretty Girl
  • Is there a women only gym near you? I used to be a member of one and I loved it. The women are all super nice and most were way more out of shape than me. Even the really fit ones were less intimidating. It may be worth looking into.
  • I'm up to 30 out of my goal of 90! A third of the way there! Great job everyone!
  • I can also commiserate. My sister has always done this, too. For example, years ago, she told me her boyfriend said we look a lot a like but I'm "thicker." We weighed almost exactly the same amount. Now, I never really believed he said that but even if he did, WHY WOULD SHE TELL ME?? I confronted her about it at some…
  • "pollo-vegetarian"
  • You can also make a suggestion about what you want to receive from the guests at the wedding. For example, ask everyone to bring their favorite recipe and picture of them with you and/or the groom and say that they should bring no other gifts. That way, they will give you something that is much more sentimental than a $100…
  • I don't know about stretches but would it be possible to put an insert into your right shoe to even you out?
  • Try to breath into your stomach - it should visibly expand and contract with your breath. That might feel weird initially but you'll get used to it. It may be that your breaths are too shallow, which leaves you gasping. Breathing more deeply will ensure you are getting the proper amount of air.
  • I looked at your diary - please be careful on weekends. When you consume less than 400 calories worth of food but over 900 from alcohol, you put your body in danger. First of all, you shouldn't be consuming so few food calories. Second, your body cannot handle all of that alcohol on a normal day, but especially when it has…
  • I was having a similar problem. I think my blood sugar gets a little low. I started eating a small snack right before I run - like 50-75 calories of granola. It hasn't happened since. If I had a little bit more an hour in advance, I would struggle. But that little bit right before is enough to keep me going. Hope that…
  • I'm in for 90. Happy walking/running to you all!
  • My weight fluctuates drastically right after I do cardio. If I sweat a lot, I will weigh less. If I drink a ton of water, I weigh more. I never trust the scale right after I work out.
  • While some exercises may be more painful as you get older, that's certainly not true of everything. Yoga or swimming are excellent for people over 50. They are easy on the joints. Some people may no longer be able to run comfortably but that doesn't mean all working out is painful.
  • Read the whole thread. No one said celiac is made up or a fad. The discussion is about people who have no signs of the disease but go GF anyway. For them, it's a fad.
  • I used to hate running. I realized it is really that I hate running outside - I don't mind it on the treadmill. I can watch a TV show and forget I'm working as hard as I am. I look forward to it - I wish I could do it every single day, but I know I would get hurt if I tried. It's funny because it's the exact same exercise…
  • This is exactly right for many people that have gone GF recently. It is really hard to eat lots of processed, unhealthy crap when you are gluten free. So, when some people cut out gluten, they feel great but it has nothing to do with the gluten. The same thing would have happened if they cut out processed food but…
  • Make and eat everything on this list (but not all at once): http://www.buzzfeed.com/deenashanker/vegan-meals-with-tons-of-protein#
  • I also recommend julienne-ing the zucchini. My favorite is to make it just like a pasta salad but with the zucchini as the spaghetti. Add some veggies, like tomato, onions, olives, peppers, whatever you like, and put a little Italian dressing on top. It will be as satisfying as pasta but so so much healthier.
  • Here's the thing - I have never tried to convince anyone to be a vegetarian. If people ask me questions about my diet, I am always happy to answer them. But I don't go looking for people to argue with or try to convince to change their ways. But you wouldn't believe the number of people who try to convince me to give up my…
  • I found a new way to counter my chocolate cravings. Rather than grabbing a candy bar, I have a cup of Stash Chocolate Hazelnut Tea most days of the week. It satisfies my want of chocolate but with no calories (unless I add a couple drops of milk, but that's nothing compared to real chocolate). If you crave chocolate on a…
