I figured I'd need to speak with a lawyer eventually, but he texted me this afternoon about wanting to talk about it tonight and I don't have time to contact a lawyer before then, so I was just hoping to have some idea of what the "norm" is instead of just telling him my opinion blindly. I think I might suggest we seek a…

spray tamari or braggs aminos on pop corn. I top with a sprinkle of nutritional (brewers) yeast for the buttery-ness flavor. MMMMMM yummy. Also my toddler would eat this all day every day.

To answer these... ...I use a heart rate monitor and have my metabolic rates tested every six months so I know it is accurate. I dance ballet 1-3 hours/ day. Typically averaging 400-650/ hr. Seems like the responses are pretty mixed though the people eating before a workout are mostly consuming carbs.... I may start trying…

I'm not gluten free entirely, but I eat an array of other grains in place of wheat frequently. My diary is open or you can friend request me. :) As a disclaimer, I've been a bit off track traveling, staying with family, holidays, etc.

I can relate to how frustrating this type of situation is but, like another poster said, it does come down to you putting the food into your mouth. I really agree with what the other person said about being a broken record, "no thank you." Some other tips for eating in restaurants that have worked for me is to NOT order a…

With that much to lose you could expect to lose 1-2 pounds a week if you follow mfps recommendations. I'm sure other people will chime in with more advice. Really though, there's no one answer to this kind of question. Everyones body is different and it depends how hard you work and how committed you are

Thanks for the responses. I'm going to bring it up to my doctor next time I see him and see what he says too but this was helpful in that I don't feel like I'm imagining it! This is a verrrrrrrry long story. haha

They make an alarm that you have to stand on to turn off. Try that. :) I just set about 6 alarms about 2 minutes apart, by the third one I'm usually like eff it, I'm getting up.

Oh! also, maybe you ought to just work in a dessert for after dinner. Maybe a few times a week if you're concerned about the calories. Knowing that the sweet thing is coming in a few days might help with the will power.

Eat dinner later, maybe so you feel full longer before bed? Find something to do that is really engaging: Read a good book, play a game with a friend, talk on the phone, journal, knit, make some art, read in the forums, get totally disorientated on pinterest.. Anything that keeps your hands busy and your mind engaged. From…

Here is what I'd suggest based on my personal experience: 1) Get rid of your scale. Weighing yourself obsessively, especially while you're manipulating your weight through changing your eating habits day-to-day, is going to drive you insane. If it is too frightening to go cold turkey on your scale, maybe weigh yourself…

I love Luna Protein bars. I think they average 170 calories a bar with 14-16g of protein. On another note, I am just waiting for larabar to toss some hemp seeds or something into one of their bars to up the protein.
