Very cool!

I've been getting rid of mine slowly and surely, with the exception of a few tops that I keep for cleaning/crafting with the kids and it doesn't matter how loose they are. For me I start to feel gross when my clothes don't fit well, so when that starts to happen, out they go!

I love coffee, but, I can get shaky/dizzy feeling if I have too much on an empty stomach.

Lobster bisque to start, with sour cream biscuits warm from the oven and butter. Caesar salad with croutons and traditional Caesar dressing (raw eggs, anchovy paste, garlic) Bacon wrapped filet mignon, with a blue cheese crumble, medium-rare. Crab Legs - at least 2 pounds. Button mushrooms browned in butter with fresh…

Can't post pictures from work - but my profile picture is my butterfly costume

Epic Fail. definitely going to hit that person.

My main focus for the winter months, when running outside has me limited due to weather and day light hours, is really lowering my body fat %. I'm into my second week of Stronglifts, and so far it is going well. I'm maintaining my calories at 1920 which I believe fits as my TDEE. Obviously it is too early on to know if…

both. I think I tried to lick the screen....

Lots of choices out there. I am initially leaning towards the FR210 (although, should the 220s be available now?) for price range and functionality. I'm ultimately interested in something that will give me pace, total distance, heart rate and time which seems like the 220 should satisfy. For the poster who commented on…

I like to roast acorn squash in the oven with some firm, tart apples (like granny smith), sweet onions, and sprigs of rosemary. Toss lightly in olive oil, season with ground black pepper and sea salt. Just before serving drizzle it with a balsamic vinegar reduction. Yum!

Yes, this plan has long runs on Saturday and the races on Sundays. Thanks for everyone's input, I definitely feel more confident about how to balance the training runs around the half and the actual marathon.

Yup, I'm definitely determined. I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5 with my husband at home right now, hopefully we will continue with that until the end of the calendar year at least. Then, January and February I will change it up with some Jillian Michael's videos all while keeping up with running (hopefully outside!)

Yes, that would be the case. In the early Monday morning brain fog I didn't even think to just move the date of the half to where it would fall and run as per the schedule. Thanks.

No DD in Canada. Starbucks: 90% of the time I order a venti dark roast. But, if I'm having a treat I like the skinny cinnamon dolce latte and at Christmas I will treat myself to a Grande Gingerbread Latte.

I'm 5'11, and I've lost 30 pounds an am pretty happy with my current weight but am now focusing on some body recomp through weight lifting. Here is a post of my progress so far that you can take a peek at to see my pictures. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1111231-sept-2012-sept-2013-through-pictures I currently…

Married 10 years. 1 daughter, who is 6 going on 16 1 son, who is 4.

While I appreciated all of these...some of them more than others, it is #20 that rings truest right now.

I'm 5'11, and I eat about 1900 calories a day. This includes anything that I burn during exercise, so I eat the same daily and it all evens out. I just completed a 1/2 marathon last week-end, and I was training basically all spring and summer for it. I have lost a good 10 pounds eating at this level daily, and maintaining…

It is a rare day when my breakfast is below 400 calories. The exception to this might be before a long run; then I eat 2 breakfasts, one before my run, usually around 200-300 cals, and then, like, 400-500 after.
-
I flip flop between 2 breakfasts usually. 1) 1/3 cup oats mixed with 2 Tbsp smooth peanut butter, 1 Tbsp honey, 2 Tbsp ground flax seed and 1/3-1/2 cup milk. 2) Breakfast sandwich: 1 or 2 eggs, tomato, sometimes avocado, sometimes mayo, on either a whole wheat English muffin or an everything bagel. Sometimes I'll go wild…

QFT. But, I bleed Blue and Gold.

I bought a few items to get me through different weight loss stages - some from thrift stores, lots from the sales racks. There comes a point where it stops looking a bit silly/goofy and starts to look just plain sloppy when clothes don't fit well.

My hubby brought me a donut and some Tim Horton's coffee the next morning. I wouldn't call it a push present, but I was ravenous after delivery, and it was very thoughtful of him!

Thank you for sharing your story, and a big congratulations on your success and your determination to keep going. I never considered myself a runner. I hated the endurance runs/fit test runs through school, and never felt it was my thing. My lungs burned, my body felt like it was out of control and I truly thought that I…

Congratulations! Enjoy the moment. :-)

I ran my very first half marathon yesterday morning. My posted finishing time was 2:19:02. I am SO happy with my results and the race in general. I had a great amount of fun, felt great through the whole thing, and sprinted my way across the finish line with tears in my eyes. From not being able to run/jog for more than 1…

Best wishes on your race. Remember to smile and enjoy everything you have accomplished to get here!

I'm running my 1st half on Saturday. The temp at the starting point will probably be in the high 20s, maybe even 30 (farenheit) and I don't expect temps to get above 35 for the whole day. Thankfully though they have removed the chance of flurries/rain. When I did 12 miles a couple of weeks ago it was in the 40s and I wore…

Club. Followed closely by Lucky Lager. Also, my sister drinks a weird strawberry beer which is pink, and nasty. I only had one sip, and thankfully didn't buy it.

Thanks for sharing. Seeing these images stirred a whole set of emotions inside of me that I did not expect as I prepare to run my first half this week-end.
