Slow and steady wins the race. I have at least 6 friends on here who lost 150 plus pounds and have kept it off for years. It didn't take them 5 months to lose it, so taking it slow....day by day.........they lost pound by pound. I just hit my 50 pound goal after 5 years. (do not look at my diary for info as I was ill for a…

The mantra of 12 step groups is "One Day At A Time" Sometimes it is one minute. The fact you have not 'picked up' is awesome, but doesn't prove it is not addicting. My mom didn't pick up in over 15 years, but she died an addict. :ohwell:

Yes we are, I wanted your picture to be above my post because it is spot on!

What you accept will become acceptable. Even if you eat your calories for the day, when you recognize this behavior, eat some protein. Just go get some peanut butter or have some protein readily available at hand (I am not a vegan so have no real idea what foods have protein other than meat) For me, I have the right foods…

Just learned this! Love it. I take line dancing classes (not into Country but single and want to dance!) She taught this, wiggle and wobble.

addiction is now classified as mental addictions. Some people see black and white. Don't put it in your mouth, you wont be fat, drunk, high........whatever. That is great for them. You do you, I'll d me. Do you know there is a neurological reaction of a 'high' when an abused person interacts with an abuser? The fight or…

Hi! I am just coming to accept my issues. More on that later.

I have had some exhausting conversations since I hit my goal weight. Now let me preface this by saying I have been 150-170 for a long time. People are used to me like that. Before gaining weight I was 100-110 until I was 35ish. I am petite by nature, and am only 5'2" tall. So over the past few weeks or so I have gotten a…

stevia in the raw is all natural. truvia is processed. I am very sensitive to artificial sweetners and stevia in the raw does not give me a headache. as with anything new it takes some getting used to, but it is no worse than sweet and low

I want to be thinner because I feel better this way. When I feel better about the way I look, that confidence shows. This was true at 150 and at 118! The funniest thing to me is all the women who have commented have remarked on how 'thin' I am and I look "great". LOL........I have been sick and this is why I lost weight.…

Fit peeps helped me with my first one. The next one has to be really good. Run a 5k or lifting heavier weights. I am ready. physically and mentally! Dancing has been fun, and helped me lose a bit more-get a better shape. Now on to bigger and better things !

Couldn't think of anywhere else to post this. I love this thread and all of you have encouraged me through the last phase of loss. I think I am finally wrapping my brain around my new size. I look in the mirror and like what I see. I will take some pix this weekend, but my next fitspiration needs to be me showing some…
