A little bit about me for those who do not know me. I have been on MFP for a long time, maybe 10 years? Found this site when Mike had just put it up and 10k users at best. Became a moderator to help out because that was the first time in my life I felt in control of my health, and I LOVED the MFP community. It now reminds…

Far from new, but just starting over. Hey Barbie, how are you? Here I am back again, finally. Looking for a thread to get involved with and this is found this....................felt 'home' May Resolutions  1. Log all my food 2. Elip or walk 3 days a week. 3. Three planks morning and night. 4. Bring lunch to work.…

One step at a time. Welcome to a great community. Keep that doctor, because most will not mention weight gain until you get high BP or other issues. Good luck!

Long time to repair mine!

Just for today, I will love my body the way it is, and honor it with healthy foods. Just for today, I will eat no gluten (just for me!)

Hi, I am curious on how it worked great? What exactly would it do for me on my diet? The reason I ask is I have had to have a colonoscopy and that 'cleanse' is surely the cleanse of all cleanses. The doctor told me I did such a great job of following the directions I should give classes. He could see everything he needed…

5'2" and maintaining at 116-118 (until recently but......that aint hanging around! LOL) I have to tell you it took a year before I felt 'small'. I was speaking with someone about weight loss, losing 50 pounds, how even at 114 my lowest, I didn't feel small. She said "Honey you are 'tiny' now. Not just thin, you are back to…

5'2" and 53 years old. I started at 168.9 and am hovering between 114 and 116 now (although honestly this is a bad week and I am about 119-120) It took a long time to lose the weight. When you are tiny to begin with, you cannot cut the calories as much as let's say a 5'8" girl who weighs 200 lbs. Although the BMI is about…

Just stopping in to say I have maintained 116 for how many months now. I have increased my food intake to 1500. I am a shorty so that is enough for me until I hit the weights, which I admit I have not done. Mainly because I had to get my food right before I could expect to lift. Happy Thanksgiving!!

I always wonder why anyone doesn't just put the correct info into MFP, then log all your food and exercise every day. Bam! It is so simple even I could do it (teasing there because I tried a million times before this time to lose weight. I am also a shorty so I understand how hard it is) In the beginning when I was 50 lbs…

My greatest advice is to be sure to eat! It is easy to fall into a pattern of not eating when something like this happens. This is NOT The way to lose weight. You will be losing muscle too. You are a smart guy, just be sure to have as much protein as you can.

and do NOT use a straw, sip. Sucking movement is not good for healing extraction area. I drank Coco Libre protein coconut water when I was having eating issues. Delish and 20 g protein as well as other beneficial things

For me I was happy rolling along gaining weight. I didn't have to think about food, exercise or my chosen lifestyle. When my eyes were opened to what I was doing to my body, I did have a period of time where I felt down. The worst thought was it was going to be years, not months Everything is a quick fix these days, but…
