I love listening to the books. I also love the Scot and the Sassenach podcast about Outlander and often listen to that during workouts. They are going to start their book discussion of Dragonfly in Amber next week in preparation for season two. It's a good listen if you haven't checked them out.

Before and after. Took 6 months: 5'10" Weight 167 -> 149 pounds Waist 32 -> 29" Hips 41 -> 37" Thigh 24 -> 20" Pants size 12 -> 8 (sometimes 6) Not a great before photo but I think it shows a difference.

It DOES get easier. At this time 2 years ago, I couldn't run more than 1 block without stopping. Today I ran 10 miles for the first time and it feels fabulous. My first half marathon is this summer. I would never have dreamed I'd be doing this when I was gasping for breath after 1 block!!! Great post! Thanks! :)

I did my first sprint triathlon on a mountain/hybrid bike. I wasn't aiming for a particular time goal - I was in it just to finish it and was happy with that, but for my next (this August) i definitely plan to ride my road bike and hope to dramatically improve my time.
