I bought some Kashi Go Lean to mix into my yogurt. Oh my, DO NOT go out in public after ingesting. Our family short-term fix is lots of watermelon. Long term, beans, fruits and vegetables. I really don't like taking anything unless it's an emergency.

Finally, the voice of reason! I threw my scale out. I only go by how my clothes fit and how I look. Also, weight loss that is too exercise dependent often doesn't last. IMHO, balance is the most important thing. I now do a combination of weight training and cardio, and it's not over-the-top cardio. People who become too…

Sensitivity to bitter taste is genetic apparently. I think stevia, in any amount is horrible. My friend thinks it's great, she doesn't think it's bitter. IF I want sweet, I go with Splenda or the real thing. I've tried agave, it's not bad, but it's still calories. I'll take my agave distilled.

If you go over one day, just go back to the plan the next day. I take a day off every week and don't worry about what I eat.

Absolutely! I've had a bad relationship with food ever since my mother put me on a diet in elementary school. It can develop into a full blown eating disorder or you can tell yourself, it's not rational and AT LEAST eat your 1200. I also found that weighing made me a bit crazy so I now judge my weight by how I look and how…

I completely understand what you're saying. I've been through the same thing before. 1200 calories and exercise should be all you need to continue to lose, stick with it and don't obsess about the weight gain, it will all even out. Like someone said, the weight you lost while sick, probably wasn't all fat. I'm one of those…

black lab - sofa, chair, 3 pairs of glasses, Blackberry, the wall... I could go on. dalmatian - a costco size bag of miniature Hershey bars (wrappers and all), a glass baking dish full of enchiladas (glass and all), my daughter's "stash". I hope my vet's son enjoys the college I'm putting him through.

Ditto what jeme3 said. Also, change up what you eat and the type exercise you do. Not all exercise promotes weight loss. Stress can upset weight loss as well. Don't obsess about it, eat healthy, exercise, practice some sort of relaxation and it will come. Just remember, skinny doesn't equal healthy. Concentrate on being…
