Wow. Insulting me now? I've tried something extremely similar to In Place of a Roadmap, I've tried "Eat More to Weigh Less". They did not work. I tried them for months before I started here and they didn't work. I've also asked for recipes. Apparently that won't work either.
-
Also, I asked for recipes, not diet criticism.

My cal target is low, I'll freely admit, and I don't want to hear it about "In place of a roadmap" or anything like that. It's was dr recommended, and it's working. And it has worked for a while now. I have a NET of 800 cals. I usually bust out 300-400 cals of exercise a day, putting me at 1200~ish cal goal if I wasn't…

I thought about broth...

You know, Snoop's pretty fit. Maybe there's something to this thread... We might be on to something... I volunteer to be a study subject lmao

I love running to "Fighter"!! My playlist of "amped up running songs": "Walk" - Pantera "Eye of the Tiger" --- seriously this is no joke lol "Gimme More" - Britney Spears "Ring the Alarm" - Beyonce Pretty much anything by Rihanna, most especially.... -"Please Don't Stop the Music" -"S&M" -"SOS" -"Rude Boy" -"When I Grow…

Oh gawd I don't want that I already have that, that's why I went gluten free in the first place my dr thought I was a Celiac gaaaah
-
Hrm. I like how you said this. My goal with going Paleo is to not eat processed stuff and no gluten. I think I'm overthinking (surprise surprise) and thinking tomorrow I should eat salad all day and a huge cut steak for dinner. OK. This seems more manageable now. I'll aim for a March 1st start, not a Feb 16th start. I'll…

I also drink almond milk (regular milk just does not taste good to me). I guess I just want reassurance or an "OK" to eat that bad stuff lmaooooo I'm scared to up it to 50% fat, but I really like that suggestion! Didn't think of that, and that's why I ask for advice, kids.
-
Well, sure, you get carbs from apples and stuff but no grains, which is a majority of carbs, so doesn't that not mean "low carb" simply by eliminating that?
-
-sighs- ....bump.
-
How long did all of this take you to lose? Because, dayum. You look totally different and holy crap, girl. You's tiny.
-
Thanks for the recommendation! I've been looking for something a lot like that site, I'll definitely check it out!
-
I was going to buy a pair of pants or something too, but I'm not out of my current size yet :( But it felt so strange telling my boyfriend today "Huzzah, I'm overweight!"
-
When I first started I dropped about 15 lbs the first month, ten the next, then gained ten somehow, then lost 15 by the end of 3months.
-
I flipping love your hair and outfit in your "after" pic. Totes jelly for that style.
-
I lift as much as I can and I have a calorie goal of net 800 cals. I've lost 31 lbs in 4 months. (I'm plateauing right now - I tried increasing my caloric intake as per the EM2WL's mantra of stupidity and it did nothing so I put myself back to 800 cals today actually)

Didn't Ellen Page as Bliss play Roller Derby in Austin, in the awesome movie Whip-It? There's gotta be something!!
-
I'm in, too! I think I'd like Team Stephen, as I'm in a 3rd floor walk-up :3
-
Pec muscle development through strength training will make them go "bigger" and maybe if you only do one side of your body it would even out, but I don't think I'd reccommend that.
-
Holy crow! Look at all these responses! I feel better knowjng I"m not "near dehydration"! I'll just keep doing my thing then. Thanks, everyone! :3

Wow I have **** luck in trying to get answers on the forums. Every topic I post dies immediately
-
... I really have nothing to say, other than the fact that I am actually crying for you. My dad got shockingly diagnosed with MS late last year (after they discovered they misdiagnosed him with a stroke) and he's talked about wanting to join me at the gym to develop the strength in his legs. I've done nothing but be…

Bump

So I'd burn the same amount of calories pushing 45lbs as I would pushing 500lbs...Sorry but I strongly doubt burning 20 cals for pushing a car...

Bump :3

Thunder Bay, ON! Add me if you're local!

I'm in Thunder Bay right now! Add me!

Trust me. That's the farthest from the truth. I could go ad nauseum about how wrong you are but I won't sidetrack. So yeah. An HRM is what I'm looking for (for all day wear, something more accurate than a FitBit). Any recommendations?
-
Damn, OK. Then maybe you guys could help me. I thought an HRM would be something I check that displayed a number. Say, 667 cal burned since wearing. Maybe I press a button or something, but the information shows up on the device itself. I don't want to check a website for the information. Is there anything like that…
