That's a bummer that no one told you, but so great about the weight loss!
-
I created an exercise called "breastfeeding" for 300 calories also.

I have Hashimoto's. Gluten free helped with pain and brain fog and no more heartburn! But thyroid numbers not under control. I want to try paleo or AIP but I also have stomach problems specifically with beef, so I have to limit how much I eat. I just don't see how I would be able to eat so much meat!

This book has lots of suggestions that go beyond meds: http://www.amazon.com/Hashimotos-Thyroiditis-Lifestyle-Interventions-Treating/dp/0615825796/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421202377&sr=8-1&keywords=hashimotos+thyroiditis+root+cause

I gave up gluten completely at the recommendation of my doc - I also have hashimoto's. She suggested giving up dairy also, but I haven't gotten there yet. The gluten apparently triggers the immune system as mentioned above. There's research out there about it, I don't have a link right now. I feel so much better you…

I have not experienced this, but I seem to remember somewhere that going bonkers with the exercise can be counter productive and that people who suffer from thyroid issues. But 30 mins every other day doesn't sound unreasonable. I think I saw it in this book…

Like handerson2005 gluten free has helped me so much. Haven't lost much weight, but I am not in pain every day and the depression has improved. People say I look less puffy too! It took a few months for the pain to subside and I still get joint pain from time to time, but I am so glad I went gluten free. I take synthroid…

How have you been doing lately?
-
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in May - sort of the same as you, TSH T3, T4 somewhat "normal" but Anti-TPO through the roof (in the 200s) The first thing my doc said to do was cut out gluten. I was very skeptical, but I was in pain all the time, depressed and tired, so I was willing to try anything. I went gluten free…

I'm 5'9 and weight 195. My ideal weight has traditionally been about 155-160 and at that weight I was able to fit into size 10...although I've had two babies since then so who knows...!. Right now I'm a 16 sometimes 18.

Survived - some frozen pipes and our street is a mess, but still here to talk about it! Isn't it funny how 30 degrees is "warm" now? I even was impressed when it got to 10.
-
Still here, but haven't been "on the wagon" lately. Trying to get back on track!
-
I am not doing fertility treatments, but I do wish you the best of luck!

It took me about 4 months to lose 10 pounds. I was losing about .5 lbs a week. Still working at it....
-
Those all look so delicious...Great photography! I wouldn't mind knowing how to make the kale avocado salad and chili tofu!
-
For my first I did not lose one pound, (not ONE!!) after the day he was born. I never got back to my pre-preg weight. With my second, who is now 9 months I have lost weight but it took me about 4 months to lose 10 lbs. I stay within my calories. I add 400 calories a day to account for milk production (make sure you do…

105 is too low - is this a mistype?
-
Great job! BIg difference for sure!
-
This is a little late...but I wanted to let you know that I have alternated 30ds and Couch to 5k for the last two months. I lost weight and lost some inches. It wasn't a massive weight loss like you may read about on MFP... but I am breastfeeding and did not work out every day (no more than 5 days a week - sometimes less).…

I should say "for me" lower than 150 is too skinny.
-
5'9 current target 160 - 165, but 150-155 would be great. Any lower is too skinny IMO.

Title 9 bras no question. I bought three bras from them (DD, Athena) three years ago and they are still in great shape. I can run and do 30 day shred very comfortably. I was unsure about the bra I wanted, so I chatted with a salesperson online and I was very happy with my order. It was worth every penny, check their sales…

I run with my nano - downloaded the Chubby Jones podcast from iTunes - she plays music then tells you when to run/walk. There is a thread about podcasts/apps on the c25k group.
-
I'm also doing couch to 5k and don't love running either, but it's getting better. I think if you start running outside you will find it more enjoyable. The scenery and people watching (and trying not to trip) will get your mind off of your distaste. I ran on the canal on Monday and that was pretty cool. What I do like…

Great Job! I am in week 4 of c25k...I also signed up for a 5k to motivate me.

Much of what I have read on this site is that you should eat your exercise calories. If you are hungry then I would use these calories!
-
Yes! Jumping jacks hurt too and lunges for that matter...sorry didn't mention...which I thought was weird, I didn't know jumping jacks would hurt! None of it was horrible pain, but I didn't want to risk it.
-
I am halfway through level two. I found level one hurt my knees, but I found that when I worked on getting the proper form on the squats, it did not hurt. I also found the knee pain went away as I progressed and got stronger. I did NOT do anything that hurt - if it did, I used the modifications or I stopped that exercise.…

I heart eggs.

Oatmeal keeps very well in the fridge. I make a big batch at the beginning of the week. You can add milk or water to make it creamy, pop in in the microwave for a few seconds, add walnuts, raisins whatever and you're done!
