I don't have any longer recipes, but I plug my crock pot into a timer so it doesn't come on until mid-day. I have it set up in a cold room (about 7C in the winter), so I'm not too worried about leaving meat out at room teperature.

I'm looking for new ideas too! My standards are: chopped green apple, cinnamon & nutmeg pecans, maple syrup & cinnamon almonds, currents & cinnamon ...yes - I do put cinnamon on almost everything.

I log it as aerobics and either low or high impact depending on the class. The class I took last winter was really challenging, and this fall was pretty easy. Same instructor and location, but the average age of the class also went up by about 30 years.

Look at your local library as well if you want to try the video before buying. I use the library website to have my requests delivered to my tiny local branch. Rfeminder to self: stop by on my way home to pick up New Rules of Lifting for Women :)

Go for clothing size! My fittest and fattest were the same weight, but two sizes apart.

I can't believe she kept trying to dig that hole! I did ask that question once to my teacher - who was not pregnant. The only out I'm giving myself is that I was SEVEN! But it left enough of an impression that the question will NEVER leave my lips again.

I've used 2lb ankle weights before and I'm a similar size to you. I was just thinking this week that I have to start that up again. I like the idea of using a backpack too. I'd make sure that your back has a good chest/waist strap if you are going to use much weight. I also walk my dog up and down a nearby hill - tuckers…

I don't have any pics, but my co-workers and I do Body Revolution on our lunch breaks! We don't do it every day - but try for 3x a week. Not seeing a ton of results in weight loss, but we are MUCH stronger than when we started. The lack weight loss is likely due to our eating habits - which is why I joined MFP!

I was wondering the same thing! I'm a bit of a sugar/chocolate fiend, but even on the days I behave myself my sugar was really high. I was replacing candy with fruit so I guess that would explain it. I guess I'll just try to ignore the sugars.. unless that candy habit starts back up!
