WOW! Good job so far! It sounds like you are doing everything right. Maybe some suggestions would be... 1. varying your exercises a bit 2. maybe shifting your diet a little bit (sometimes jump starting your body with new things, also healthy of course, can kick your body into gear) 3. You may want to talk to your doctor.…

sweet. Ready for action! ...starting tomorrow. :-p

I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes last year. :-( I'm trying to work on my diabetes slowly but surely. :-)

I hate it when those moments happen. They are inevitable though...what a bratty kid. Obviously parents haven't taught him manners. You're doing a great job, and keep it up. That kid will get theirs. :-D

YOu look fantastic. Congrats

I've been curious about this topic as well. From what I've read from other post threads is that it really just depends on the person. But the best way (that I've been told thus far) is to lose the weight slowly, drink water and exercise. :-)

There are actually quite a few..they may not be as "popular" as the three you mentioned, however, if you go to amazon.com and look up fitness DVDs or exercise DVDs you will find several. Depending on your level, there are usually some good selections. They have the kickboxing ones, running/walking in place, dance ones,…

Try employment agencies or temp agencies. They help you get more experience in different fields, and sometimes they even offer classes to help build skills. :-) Just keep on trying. I'm sure you will find something at some point.

I don't have kids yet, let alone step-kids...but it does seem to be a difficult question. I would say keep working on your honey. Because without his support, it will not work. If it is going to cause a lot of strife in your relationship though, I wouldn't necessarily fight too hard. But when the kids come to the table,…

I agree. With anything that is not natural, your body has a harder time processing it. However, if you really want something flavored maybe try Barley Tea? I love it! It's a Japanese tea called Mugicha, it isn't as bitter as British teas, and has a bit of sweetness to it (no need to add sweetener or milk).

If you have time on the weekends, you can actually make your own. :-D Just cook up some food that's healthy, or at least in portions that you would like and just freeze them. They should keep during the week. That way you can cut cost and sodium. :-D Not sure if this is feasible for you because I don't know your schedule.…

wow.....>.< oh man...that about getting inspired to get on that treadmill. >.<:ohwell:

I've been having the same problem. Thus far, I've been told by most just go with one or the other, and just always measure that one. But I am curious about what advice others have to give on the topic.

I love Leslie Sasones walk at Home DVD. They are fantastic. I occasionally like to get various workout dvds from netflix though, just to keep it interesting. :-) I wasn't sure how often I should switch them out though...>.< But thanks again everybody.

Thanks guys! :-D Your comments have been very helpful.

I gained 3 pounds back as well over the weekend. But never fear, we will just get back on track. Sometimes we have set backs. But all we can do is to try, try again. :-)
-
Welcome :-) Good luck to you! :-D

I've had similar realizations. :blushing: But I think it's fine though. We just enjoy the little extras, and as you say we just have to fill up on more greens and such (not a bad trade I think).

This week's challenges seem very doable. Let's do this! Go team 5! :-D

Welcome. :-) Yay military wives (My husband is now out of the service, but I feel ya) :-D I'm on my journey as well to finding a healthier me, feel free to add me if you'd like.

I feel you on that one sometimes. I'm too busy to go to the gym..I'm too busy to plan out a menu. I completely agree with you. Some ways I am going to be making time for that is by adding the exercise into my schedule. For example instead of sitting in traffic for an hour and a half. I could go to the gym before I go home…

I agree with many of my fellow MFPers here. Just ask your doctor. Because if it isn't the medication, it may be something else that is causing your body to act that way. :-) Good luck. :-)

Oh that sounds delicious!

LOL @ the comments on this topic. :-) Feel free to add me. I'm a 24 year old gal. :-)

Welcome! Hope you achieve the goals you have come here to attain! Feel free to add me if you'd like. :-)

the difference is there! :-) don't worry. And I think it's amazing that you have been able to begin overcoming your body image issues. :-) we all have them to a certain degree, you just have to reember not to be too hard on yourself.

fencing or hiking. They are both high calorie burners, but it doesn't become mundane. It's always exciting. :-)

Good Luck and welcome

I'm dying to find out the answer to this as well. >.<
