I haven't lost an extreme amount of weight but I would say don't starve yourself. Eat when you are hungry. Also, the nutritionist I see always tells me I have to be able to identify actual hunger. Learn how to separate cravings or time of day from hunger. Adding MFP friends to motivate helps too.

I'm 5'2 and from 191 to 167, I am still a size 14. My waist is smaller but my hips and butt won't budge.

Try working in the beer business. Full coolers in the office and everyday is an open bar.

Kind eyes, and good cheekbones. Not to mention great weight loss!

I am on the depo shot and I have about a 10 lb weight gain when I am on it. My advice is stay at it. After about 3 weeks, the pounds start coming off again.

I have certain cheat snacks that I have a couple times a week. It probably isn't great for my calories but it helps with the cravings during the week and the over indulgence because of the cravings. I consider that a win.
