Well I think its more of a reality check. i'm always the girl who is pretty....according to people...but I'm also 238lbs and overweight. So sometimes I relied on being pretty and that people will accept that. But seeing pics of how overweight I am is good motivation :)
-
thanks, I think you are right..I need to take measurements too. And 30 lbs for you is impressive! keep it up :)
-
thanks Girl :)
-
Thats how I have it....lbs lost so far :) I'm generally a positive person but I think in a way it was good to see a sideways pic of my fat ...I know that sounds funny haha But its more like a reality check :P Great job, 9lbs is awesome!!

Just add it as a new exercise for yourself and put it for 60 minutes and whatever ur weight is times 3.26...then when you just do 20...you can enter 20 and it will calculate it for you. It sounds right, I just did it for 20 minutes and burned 260 calories.
-
Yep, that is why I said heart rate has a lot to do with it. But for the people who don't have one this can be a way to calculate. Its hard because if you are putting too many calories burned...then you are going above your net for the day....and if you put too few calories burned then you are going under your net. LOL

I wanted to buy one of those soda makers too! I was thinking I could make my own La croix if I added fruit or lime. I personally dont drink crystal light b/c of the aspartame...but I was also leary of the new Truvia invention too.
-
Exactly what I was trying to say! LOL Just wanted a few opinions on that. Thanks!
-
Personally I think adding crystal light/flavored drinks that are made with water shouldnt count. I dont eat or drink anything with aspartame or any type of fake sugars...I think its really bad for you.
-
My doctor used to say coffee and drinks that are flavored by crystal light packets are negative water....just that its not as good for you as pure water.
-
You mean count only carbonated water like la croix?
-
Thanks for all the help :) I get the food part...eating higher fiber...and smaller meals...but more often...I have that down pretty good. Like you said...its harder to add more cals of healthy food...more cals needed doesnt mean ANY type of calories LOL Thanks again...I'll have to let all of you know what happens lol
-
Ok thanks. I used the one on here. Mine says 1800 calories...that is just nuts. No way would I eat 1800 a day LOL Ugh, this stuff can get frustrating LOL
-
How do you figure that out?
-
Sorry if this sounds dumb....but how did you figure your BMR? Are you talking about Burn rate? Or the suggestion on here?
-
Good suggestion, i think since some people say 1200, and others 1500...1400 is right between :) I understand the eating your excerise calorie thing too. Water is hard to do....you are right....I quit drinking pop last May and only keep water and La Croix in my fridge since then....it has helped a LOT!
-
Awe, thank you! You are very pretty too! Thanks for the suggestions...I belong to the gym at my work and its convienent since its downstairs...they have circuit classes that are similar to curves. My big thing was to get my food consumption under control for a few months...then add the 5 day execerise week slowly. Any big…

Thats exactly what I was thinking...which is why I posted this. I know too few calories can store as fat since your body is freaking out about not having energy. Good advice I think I will just up my cardio to 4-5 days a week instead of my 1-2 and see how that progresses for a month or 2....think its a good idea?
-
I figured that was the healthy way....1-2. I've been averaging like 1.3lbs. I dont eat my exercise calories....but then again I've only been working out 1-2 days a week. Do you think maybe increasing my cardio to 4-5 days a week will make a big difference? Also, I feel like 1200 would be unrealistic and I would be really…
-
WOW. So very proud of you!! Good tips too...I think having the cardio everyday makes a difference!

I actually make them homemade every year for my family for xmas....They are actually pretty easy and I stuff them with my own ideas...that is what makes them fun :) We've made them with cheesy potato, spinach and feta, mushroom and ground beef/turkey, sun dried tomato and potato....and sometimes pizza style with peperoni…

Mmmmmm I am definately making this, thanks!
-
Mmmm, I'm on it! haha
-
Mmmmm good idea!!! I was even thinking making them with corn and cilantro would be good :P
-
Thats exactly what I did!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks! I'm trying to post pics but like everyone I still havent figured that out! LOL Oh and these seriously taste like hash browns when you eat them with ketchup!
-
One manicotti is 257. I filled them with a lot too and the crepes are not small. 2 will fill you up for sure.

It's in that link but this is what I used: Crepes: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup milk (I used Skim) 2 large eggs (I used 1/2 cup Egg Beaters) 1 cup flour Directions: Blend the water, milk, and eggs. Add the flour , blend until smooth and free of lumps. Allow the batter to rest for an hour. Heat an 8" non-stick skillet to medium…

Ah yes, it happened again today. At work....they had a bday with cake. My coworker baked it and we counted up the cals...9900 for the whole cake! So I am proud that I said NO today to the work Bday cake! haha
