Great job with running! Wow. And 2 dress sizes is amazing! You are right in saying its more of training your mind into different habits when you get those urges..I'm totally a food addict too haha! Thank you that helped, added to my list of encouraging things to do from this thread!

The support means more than you know to me, thanks for that! It's sort of like someone who is awesome at logging and losing for like 6 years...not some MFP fad dieter...then just gets in a dark place and gains. Its tough. But like always, we get back up and get at it! When I log my loss, no matter what it is. It will mean…

See! I really did do it! haha
-
Love this, putting on a post-it note on my desk at work!
-
I like that, baby steps! I really think getting back to logging...good or bad...is what is going to help first. I was an avid logger for like 5 years, back on track starting today!
-
It helps to know I'm not alone in it. I think we know what we need to do since we did did it before but support really helps!

First, LOVE your profile pic haha! Stress is what gets me too. You stress about stress! haha For me, I am just in a spot where its out of hand and I haven't been this way in like 8 years so its just weird. I've always gotten on track. I think support on here helps, which is why I posted something. Just takes a few kind…

Right before you said this, I logged and even updated my gained weight...which is hard when you see "50lbs lost". Thank you!
-
Like a fork in the road! Good way to look at it, I'm typically a positive person that doesn't sulk in misery. This gain just hit me hard, Thanks for the bluntness :)

Wow, 100lbs is committment and shows you will never give up! Inspiration, keep it up!
-
Thank you for this! Being more realistic in your goals so you aren't overwhelmed or fall off I think helps.
-
OMG you are so similar to me! Thank you! I do have a girlfriend that I helped lose weight last year that has done great and now she is going to the gym with me to help support me back=awesome friend. That helps. My husband is totally supportive and encouraging. I have insulin resistance too and I do grain…

You are so right when you say that we are harder on ourselves. Especially when I am the one who is always the motivator of other ya know? It's like I'm finally putting down my ego and raising my flag...and saying help! haha Writing a letter of encouragement to myself is a good idea, thank you for this :) I'll add you too!
-
You are right, its back to the basics I guess of tracking and working out. I think sometimes because its so disappointing, I overthink it and stress out. Stress =emotional eating lol I was someone who logged everyday for 5 years, and would only fall off for a few days at the most. Thank you for the support! We both got…

I say go for it! Everyone's body is different but for me I have done great on limiting dairy..sugar.. And low glycemic. Paleo seems to incorporate it all...and you can have bacon! Haha If you seriously want to give it a try feel free to add me!

It's very hard to find friends who log everyday. I know it takes committement. I'm sure I've had a day or 2 that I've fallen off but the fact that I always get back on has definitely been the reason I've kept off these 50lbs now for 4 years. I just feel like sometimes I waste my time encouraging/ motivating someone... Then…

Wow, this thread has been going on for a long time! It definitely helps to have support, especially from unbiased people on here. I've lost 50lbs so far but need to lose this last 30-40lbs to be healthy for trying for a baby. Does anyone on here have PCOS?
-
Well goes to show she didnt know what she was talking about lol

This is so true! As soon as I started eating low glycemic I lost like 40 lbs! I also saw a webcast on www.pcosdiva.com and she talked about why your body craves sugars and carbs more than a normal person...very informative. What kind of carbs have you been eating? I try and just stick to true whole grain...any other…

We are not all alone! I'm 29...finally diagnosed with PCOS last year....I totally had that "ah haaah" moment! I lost about 40 lbs when I first found out because I started eating low glycemic. I saw a really good webcast on this site called www.pcosdiva.com it talked about why people with pcos crave sugar and carbs more…

That's what happens when you assume things, all you needed to do was ask. :) Enjoy!
-
Has anyone made it yet? Let me know what you think!
-
Great! One lady on here made it and said it was amazing too! :)
-
Yes, I did. It's pretty awful of her to not keep positive and just ask me to post the recipe builder or ask how many it serves. Instead she just kept posting negative comments like "Be aware this soup is NOT 99 calories. per one cup"....or "when something sounds good always do the math for yourself. this is what I came up…
