hehe but, think of me as being the person feeling the pain you will do in a few weeks time so, call me your guinea pig rather than hero ;)

Yup, MFP can create your weight loss ticker and if you follow the link at the top of this thread you can create your running ticker and you just paste the code into your post :)

I'm in for 75 'running' miles in March :)

Don't think I was properly prepared for today, was following Week 6, Day 2, Col 2... 20/20/23/23/20/20/18/18/53 total 215 (yes, two hundred and fifteen!!!). I did falter on #42 on the final rep but picked myself up, took some deep breaths and finished but boy do I ache now. Carpet shampooing by hand now if I get the use of…

Loved doing this in February, really pushed me, how do I sign up for March? do I just need to watch the forum posts or do we get a link in thread?

WB Butters and congratulations!!
-
5.45 mile run today - new distance, time and average HR records for me :)
-
Hey Shantae, hop aboard and no probs with the modified pushups - we'll have you doing 'regular' pushups in no time ;)
-
Well done! I've been reduced to my knees a few times myself and also tried holding the top of a pushup for a few seconds to get my breath back.
-
^^ this And, am sure we all get an 'off' day sometimes and am sure today will make you stronger for the next set :)
-
cmeirun, are you mainly doing free weights? I got some bodylastics resistance bands, not the cheapest but highly recommended and also got free 3 months subscription to liverexercise.com - does what it says in the url and there are over 3 years worth of video exercises as well as several training programmes you can do live.…

Well done on the exhaustion test brandiuntz and good luck for tomorrow :) I've been looking at outdoor pull-up bars but not sure still - looks like hard work!
-
hehe, looking at your profile pic I thought we had someone new on here ;) And yes, I've not picked up a resistance band for a couple of weeks now :(
-
5.45 miles today jogging up and down my Nemesis - only .4 of a mile but climbs/falls about 230 feet!
-
Well yes, must thank you really cos not sure I'd be where I am with this if it wasn't for this thread - a great motivator so ta :)
-
My fifth week and followed Week 6, Day 1, Col 2 40/50/25/25/50 one hundred and ninety in total!!!! I'd like to thank cmeirun for starting this but right now (if I had any strength) I'd be taking a swing at her lol. (though don't condone violence of course).
-
WOW! some massive percentage increases from you all - WELL DONE everybody :) My increase from the first test is minor next to all yours at 119% but am still well pleased ;)
-
Well done TheTrym and glamchicka :) rest day here today and getting myself physced up for my week 5 doing week 6 day 1 col2 tomorrow.
-
Well done and good luck for your exhaustion test tomorrow!
-
The end of my fourth week and today did Week 6, Day 3, Col 1 13/13/17/17/16/16/14/14/51 - total=171. I did take 10 seconds rest at the top of pushup 45. Won't be doing the final test for (quite) a while and will repeat week 6 next week (51 sneaks me into col 2)
-
cmeirun, thats a fantastic improvement! I'm down for a max of 50 tomorrow and that's 4 more than my previous exhaustion test so not feeling overly confident especially as I'd have done 120 pushups prior to the last set!
-
^^ this and looking forward to a race review on your return (am ok if you do it in worktime of course).
-
txs electriq and well done TheTrym :)
-
2.03 mile run today and whilst I was hoping to take it easy it was a new trail route with a 500 foot total incline (at least it was the same coming back lol).
-
Well done to everybody - it's getting serious now! Oh, and if your easily scared don't go and count how many pushups there are in Week 6, Day 3, Col 3 :noway: :noway: :noway:
-
Ran 5.06 miles today and hit my goal of 50 miles for the month :)
-
WB electriq and well done :) Week 4 here for me and following Week 6, Day 2, Col 1... 14/14/15/15/14/14/10/10/45 (151 tot). I did take a 10 second breather at 40 in the final set.
-
And well done to you Linli :) Ran for 50 minutes today (4.2 miles) so my goal of running 5 miles in an hour non stop is just around the corner (excuse the pun).
-
4.62 mile run today and (for the first time ever) ran for 50 minutes before my first walk break :)
-
Complete! 2*50 reps with a 10lb dumbbell - certainly feeling the burn now.
