  • Awesome I'm in too!
  • To not snack at night, first I make sure to have a good full supper. If you're craving sweets, have some fruit or even make a smoothie. If it's salt you're craving, nuts are my go to. All those and of course drink water, tones of it. After my pregnancy with my son I have been slowly getting rid of fake foods and eating…
  • Hello everyone! I just joined this group and I'm also looking to add some people to my friend's list. I'm 31, mom of a 5yr old and a almost 2yr old, from Canada (maritimes) and work full-time as a school counsellor in elementary K-5. Looking forward to hearing from you!
  • Feel free to add me too! Very motivated food wise, yet my exercise is lacking which is why I need some help!
  • YUP! My 4 month old started to do this a month ago. OUCH! My eldest never bit this much. I'm so used to do it that I can predict when she's about to do it, I just remove her for a quick second. My daughter only does it when she's about to fall asleep, she chews on her soothers so I'm thinking she's doing the same with me.
  • Congratulations! You can add me if you like, I gave birth my my daughter last November. I had gained 45 and lost 30 up to now I still have a ways to go to get back to my wedding weight. I'd actually like to be back to my dating weight :)
  • I have a 3.5yr old and a 2.5 month old. I do want a third one but my husband says he's done. I wouldn't want to have the third anytime soon though. I'd rather have a gap of 3-4yrs. Between my kids I wanted a 2yr gap but it took a year and a half to get pregnant the second time around.
  • I want in too, I need all the motivation I can get!
  • For me it's the same I've had a repeat c-section on November 5th. First time was a emergency and last was scheduled the recovery is so different this time. A lot quicker! What everyone is mentioning is what I went through the first time. It will get better! I remember that it took a long time to get feeling around my scar…
  • Nursing mom here to a 3 week old. I had lost all my weight with my first by just breastfeeding but it almost took a year (55lbs). This time I want to lose it quicker. Amurphy198, I laughed when I saw that you go in your son's Halloween candy. If you were to look at my MFP diary you'd see all the Halloween candy I've also…
  • Some lose all their baby weight by breastfeeding or pumping, some don't. It's mostly because you burn calories producing the milk and if you stick to your regular diet, most likely you'd burn those extra pounds. I did lose most of my baby weight the first time around by just breastfeeding and doing little exercise not…
  • As many have already said, you've done the best choice already and that is making the decision to become healthier. I'm sure you're overwhelmed by all the posts here, myself reading the thread I think it's amazing to see the out poor of all the people who want to help and support you. I'm also one of them, I'm maybe not…
  • I was 155 - 200lbs this time around (208 first time). 12 days PP I'm down at 181 With my son I was able to go down to 162 without exercising much and not really watching what I ate. I went with Weight Watchers and went down to 135lbs but of course when I stopped I went up to 155lbs.
  • I'm new too :) I gave birth to my daughter on Nov 5th, I also have a 3yr old son. I was able to lose the weight the first time around but gained some when we were trying to conceive our second. I gained 45lbs this pregnancy and lost 12 after I got out of the hospital. Hopefully we can support each other and get to our…
  • I'm also looking for some mommy friends. I'm 9 days PP, gained 45lbs during pregnancy lost just 12lbs from labor and need to lose 50lbs to reach my goal weight.
