I agree with leaving a little bit of calories left in case you're hungry before bed. This happened to me last night. I finished dinner around 6:30pm and by 10pm I was hearing my stomach growl. I had a few wheat thins with a tiny bit of peanut butter on them and a glass of water - which ended up being perfect.

Try getting a pitcher of water and adding a few cinnamon sticks and a sliced up apple. Let it sit overnight to absorb all of the flavor, then have at it :) Regular water is usually all I ever drink but I hate flavored water - this is very good though. I find when I drink this it also gives me more energy than drinking…

Welcome back! I've just started using MFP again 2 weeks ago. Feel free to add me - the more support, the better! :)

I'm not sure of your specifics - but, I've found that water gives me lots of energy. And I'm an avid coffee drinker, but if I sip constantly on ice cold water I feel like it does wonders on my energy levels.

I've definitely thought about this before too! It's insane how differently people carry their weight in general - height making a difference, too. I'm 5'5" 249lbs currently and a 18/20 pants.

Love making new friends! Add away!

Feel free to add me :) I am currently looking to lose about 50lbs. But, ultimately close to 70ish.

I'm pretty sure most of us have been there. This is my 3rd or so go around, and the longest I've stuck to it so far. It helps to get involved with the posts in the community I've realized. Feel free to add me if you're looking for new friends! Best of luck

Fiber One brownies are surprisingly good. I don't have too much of a sweet tooth, but when I do, these definitely help out a lot!

You're not alone! I've never been overly excited about Thanksgiving

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you. What I've learned is that you don't have to completely deprive yourself of ANYTHING. Just plan ahead, count your calories and enjoy what you like in moderation. That is the key. If you deprive yourself of things you want constantly, that will eventually lead into a binge and you'll end…

Maybe I'm just more of a blunt person than most people... But, this isn't okay. If you are honestly trying to improve your life for the better by getting healthy & losing weight, you should not accept these types of negative comments. I can't imagine how hurtful this is to someone who is working their butt off to diet &…

My all time favorite movie is Blow. A close runner up is Shawshank Redemption.

My final straw was when I realized the number on the scale was 250. Also noticing that I had a double chin when I was looking down at my phone one day, and could feel it. Then the obvious one - realizing NONE of my jeans fit and since I refused to buy the next size up, ended up only wearing sweats/"comfy" pants. That's…

You're already off to an awesome start! I always feel like the best motivation is actually seeing the numbers go down on the scale. Best of luck! Feel free to add me :)

I'm 25 and looking to lose around 60lbs. I'm new also. Feel free to add me! :)

I'm not new to MFP (I've been on & off.. More off than on haha) - but I'm new to actually taking advantage of the 'community' on here. Which, so far, seems pretty awesome! Feel free to add me if you'd like :)

I've also been on & off MFP for the past year. (more off than on) This is the first time I've actually reached further into the site, other than just logging my daily food. What has helped keep me motivated to stay on track eating-wise is seeing the numbers on the scale go down. Once I see that I've lost a couple pounds, I…
