  • Is the phone notifications annoying? I think it would be neat to have and I am no inundated with people calling/texting me but I don't want to get annoyed with it.
  • I do like that I would be able to use a chest strap with the Vivosmart so I don't have to use the HRM that I have. I thought about waiting for the Charge HR but I don't think I like the reviews on a wrist based HRM.

  • I ran last year....have only been out to run once since the weather turned nice. I need to get back at it...that is where I saw the most weight lost. I have a 5K this Sunday...hoping that by diving right in, I will get back to it.

  • Have you checked your measurements? Sometimes you will see loss of inches before loss of weight. Are you eating at a deficit? I am working my butt off but not seeing any weight loss right now. However, I know I haven't been eating at the deficit that I need to to lose.

  • I was on the fence for a while about this. I recently bought the Polar FT4 and I love it! It gives me exactly what I want, a more accurate count of calories burned while exercising. I don't feel the need to track my normal everyday movements.

  • I just finished Alpha on Friday but my husband and I are really thinking about doing Alpha over. Seems to have gotten harder as we went on instead of easier. I have gained weight....boo! But I am pretty sure that is my own fault. Trying to get back to eating right now.
  • I resisted getting a food scale and an HRM. Until recently. Have had a food scale for over a month and use it sporadically just to confirm what I already know. Just bought an HRM yesterday...Will see once it arrives.

  • I am currently doing T25 and I love it. I love that I am burning calories and working up a sweat and I love that it is only 25 minutes a day!! My husband is even doing it with me. These are the first workout DVD's that I have ever bought. I want to work up to doing Insanity or P90X but right now T25 is getting me there.
  • T25 will help out. Three weeks of watching your calorie intake and eating less fatty foods with exercise will make that little bit of difference. IMO

  • I am back. I wasn't able to take my workout on vacation so I am back on Week 2. Yesterday kicked my butt. I can tell I haven't done it in a week! :(
