  • Vodka is my choice beverage! Switched to beer, LIGHT beer at that. ONLY on the weekends. NO more than a couple. Once in a while a deep red wine. ONE glass, and not my 'normal' size either. Easy for me to keep those under control. Vodka...a whole new story....
  • Pancakes with little to NO syrup and half a pat of butter. STAY away from those sausages!!!!! I still get to go out for breakfast and a walk will burn those few calories off in little time!
  • Coffee in the morning only. Then I drink plain water or Mio flavoured water. I also take vitamins spaced throughout the day so I have 1 glass of water with each pill. I find I drink more water if I fill my metal water bottle up and leave it in plain view.
  • My loss is very slow as well. Granted, I do not dedicate myself to exercise the way I should. I do watch what I eat, do some weights and bike ride a couple times a week.   • FINALLY!!!! Getting my mojo back! Did 100 leg curls of 10 lbs! Three times a week is my goal, not bad for being sedentary with the flu for a month. Maybe add the bike mid-week.....see how I feel.

  • My thing is getting back to a regular exercise routine. If I travel or get sick, (just got over the flu....sick with that for a month), I find it REALLY hard to get back to exercise.   • Cook as indicated. Add dried cranberries,raisins, dried apricot, chopped nuts, spinach, ect. I've also cooled the rice and added chopped apples and oranges for something a little sweeter. Maybe mix in a little vanilla yogurt for something along the line of a rice pudding. Use you imagination.

  • I like Vega One. You can order it online as well in the States and Canada. Health food stores and some drug stores also carry it. 50 % of daily intake of vitamins is the main reason I take it. Also had fibre, omega 3 ect.

  • Not giving up coffee. Many benefits...besides, I like it. I make a pot every day. You know those scoops they give you in SlimFast shakes? I use 2 level scoops of those. Coffee not strong, but I love it! When we go out and I get 'a' coffee...I end up with the jitters. Obviously, I make weak coffee but it smells great
