Thank you kind sir!! That was exactly what I needed this morning!!

I don't have an i-phone. Sorry!

Chicken breast is always a good thing to have around. Get some fresh vegies and whip up a stir fry. Pork loin is a very lean and healthy choice also. I buy a whole loin when on sale and cut into several pieces to freeze. You can have grilled chops or roast with potatoes, carrots and onion. You can do a stir fry with it…

You look fabulous!! Congratulations and Happy Birthday! What a gift you've given yourself!!!

I like Splenda

I have the Polar FT7. My son got it for me. He chose it because you can change the battery yourself. (one of the reasons he chose it)

Ditto on this one! It's delish!! Sometimes you can find sugar free frosting.

Don't do it 2 days in a row. You need a day for your muscle to recover. If you are still sore after that maybe give it another day. My daughter and I just had this discussion. She is in school for Athletic Training.

Ditto to all above comments! Have gotten good feedback and suggestions! You are my long distance friends!:blushing:
-
Guestamate! I figure you walked about 3 mph. Unless you get a HRM or some other device that's the best you can do.
-
I don't know why but it sounds like something I might try!
-
Yes, I'm from the Lafayette area.

Also they say don't eat salad on a day you weigh. Don't get me wrong, eating salad is very, very good but it makes you retain water. Stick with it! One day soon, you'll weigh and the results will be amazing!!

I turn beet red when I workout. It's probably just the way you're made. You look like you might have a fair complexion and that could be a contributing factor also. I know that's how I am and don't worry about it.

I really think Leslie Sansone's "Walk away the pounds" might be good. It's basically walking in place. She does add arms but you can do what's comfortable for you. There are no floor exercises. She has many different DVDs. I have a set that has a 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile walk. She always has one person who modifies her…

In the three mile walk she says we speed you up to 5 mph so that's where I log it. I love doing WATP!
-
I've been to France but that's a new one! Maybe you try to make it or come close. (maybe even make it leaner)
-
Good for you! There's lots of encouragement on here.

i like your attitude!! I've lost weight in the past also just to gain it back. I love this site cause it makes me think about my choices. I have to knowledge now I'm putting it to good use. Keep up the good work! Gail

I like Leslie Sansone's "Walk away the Pounds"

That's what I would say also. Find something similar and go with it. You might be surprised what you can find!
-
I'm always looking for someone to share ideas!
-
Great job! Keep up it up!

You might be surprised by what you think is a cheat. Go ahead but don't go too far overboard. Then check out what you ate on the data base. Or at least try to find approximately what you ate. Better yet, if you know where you're going, think about what you can get and check it out before. Good luck!

thank you for that advice.
