I log them. Most don't add much in the way of calories but a few do and I wouldn't have known otherwise. Was shocked by carrots for example.

I've tried watching cartoons with my kids but some are just too weird. I miss the 80s stuff like transformers and voltron as well as the old bugs bunny and Tom n Jerry. The new ones just don't do it for me.

I drink coffee black so don't have to deal with getting all the sugar from it, but if I wouldn't use sugar I would stick to Splenda in coffee. It doesn't pass into the blood stream from the digestive tract and I get plenty of natural sugar from the foods I eat.

All I did was start tracking wht I eat on here and it's made a huge difference for me

I think your comparison to an alcoholic and one drink is good. After I quit drinking my wife decided to work on her weight. There were innumerable comparisons in how we related to our challenges. I also agree with the comments about high fructose corn syrup. My sweet cravings went way down after eliminating it from my diet.

I'm 42 and lost 22 pounds so far. Got about 30 to go.

I lost zero pounds all of month 2 as well. losing again now though.

I was 33 when I left my job to go back to school and get a degree. Graduated at 37 and started a new career. Other than student loans, I've never regretted it.

I work out in the morning because I know if I wait until after work I am more likely to blow it off. I don't have trouble as long as I go to bed early. In the beginning making myself go to bed early was no fun but I adjusted after awhile.

I'm on day 20 no smokes. Some days are easier than others. Was craving this morning so went to the gym instead.
