I have a weight goal. Once I'm close ill figure out if a bf goal is needed.

i'm not an expert but from human anatomy he is probably referring to the extra strain on the tendons around the knee. If you're lifting properly and no with excessive weight the tendons should be fine. improper lifting or sudden bursts of excessive weight might tear the tendon.

I once went on the all alcohol diet and dropped 30 pounds. I mean, I slipped a few times and ate food so it coulda been a bigger loss but it still worked.

I use what the machine says minus 25% or for things like walking I use mfp number minus 50%. If I stop losing weight ill buy an hrm.

I weigh weekly first thing in the morning and take measurements once a month.

I prefer the arc trainer. Feels more like a natural stride than the ellipticals.
