One of the main ones is ammonia. Here are a couple search results from simply typing "What toxins does urine flush out?" http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urine http://womenshealth.answers.com/reproductive-health/flushing-out-bodily-wastes-through-urine I can't believe adults are questioning what our urinary system does.
-
I was going for the dramatic. Yes, coffee can be considered a diuretic because it has caffeine, however, you don't go to the grocery store to buy Folgers Diuretics.
-
Our urinary system is designed to flush out toxins and bacteria from the body. Anything that you consider a toxin to your body goes out from the front side or the back side, right? So, if you pee more, would you not flush out more toxins?

Roxy Lean is good for a boost. I liked it better than any other BPi products. I'd highly suggest buying it off Amazon or another website before buying it from GNC. Unlike coffee, Roxy Lean is a diuretic. Diuretics promote urination, which helps decrease water weight, but also can help flush out toxins. You simply cannot…

^^This x1000 I love going to my night class after a long day of work. It allows me time to center my focus back on myself, focus on my breathing, and bring acceptance and awareness to myself and my surroundings.

Pork is in no way one of the best meats to eat. Best tasting? Maybe. And chicken? I'm the vegetarian here, and it seems like I know the healthy meats. Here's an article from 2010 with references: http://www.draxe.com/why-you-should-avoid-pork/
-
I agree with half of this. Animal rights is further down the list of reasons I became a vegetarian. But yes, people who are trying it merely to lose weight, usually don't stick to it.
-
Definitely give it a shot. Even just consuming less meat (especially red and pork) is not necessarily a bad thing.
-
Great article. I always wondered if creatine would have a more dramatic effect since I'm a vegetarian. I also wondered the same thing for BCAAs.

Unfortunately, we can't spot reduce. The first place we gain is typically the last place we lose. If you stick to your routine, it should shed off eventually.
-
You will almost always gain a little fat in a surplus. I'd try to consume most of your calories through protein sources so that it can help build lean mass.
-
If you're trying to gain weight, eat at a surplus. Meal timing becomes irrelevant.
-
I'm just under 12% and I only have the upper four poking out. Do weighted ab exercises so you grow the muscles and can see them at a slightly higher BF%.
-
I'm taking raspberry ketones in conjunction with a fat burner, so I can't say whether they have helped or not, but I burp an acidic raspberry taste sometimes that can give me heart burn.
-
Mmmm cupcakes. You don't care if I die? Well that's rather insensitive. How the hell can you predict that I will have a stroke when you have absolutely no idea what my lifestyle, or my genetics, consist of?

Red meat, tribulus, steroids...

Those sodium guidelines are for non-active individuals. You should check out threads on people who work out regularly, and consume a ton of water and potassium. I've been doing this for years and nothing yet. But I'll let you know if I croak.
-
If you are working out regularly, and don't have any medical issues, you don't need to put much emphasis on sodium intake. I had almost 4,000 mg yesterday.

Why do people keep saying there's no miracle/magic pill? I thought that was called Plan B.

Bust out the Avion!

Yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you feel hungry, having more protein could help curb it. Going over on protein is never usually a bad thing.

Does your boyfriend secretly feed you testosterone? Because you will not get bulky unless he is.
-
If it's just pullups, you could do them every other day, say, Tue, Thur, Sun. I like to put a weight between my feet, go to failure, drop the weight (while still in the set), and go to failure again.

Week 8: Down 6 lbs (at a 2300-2600 cal diet), down 1.5% BF

Fat burner = screw what others think. If you want to take one, go for it. Hydroxycut = Muscletech only cares about one thing, selling their products. I won't buy anything Muscletech, even their BS Wal-Mart crap.
-
Albert Einstein did say that the human species would benefit from evolving into a more vegetarian diet.
-
Are you losing weight, though? I can't see your diary, so I can't fully answer the question.

Yes, the pedometer calculations from normal walking does correlate to your normal daily activity. Personally, I don't add exercise calories into MFP at all. It gives you the opportunity to think you can eat more, especially because MFP exercise database isn't 100% accurate. In my opinion, pick a calorie goal and stick to…
-
As long as your cheat meal doesn't equal your goal calorie intake for the day or anything, if you want one, have one!
-
Yeah, it's what your body feels comfortable at. You are likely going to LBM because of the deficit, but keep the protein high to help rebuild the muscles so you don't lose as much.
