On a more serious note: Here in Sweden there are much stricter rules on additives in pet food than human food. Apparently theres 300ish OK'd additives for human food - 180 of them are forbidden to put in pet food. The motivation? That people can read the ingredient list, know whats in our food and decide whether or not to…

Ice cream. =)

Not a trainer either but I've been told that it's better to have wider stance and to slightly angle your feet out if your not flexible enough to do it straight and narrow and to then work your way in as you improve flexibility.

Good job! Glad I'm not the only one... I have several pairs of shoes that now flop around as I walk. :P Way to go making it work!

Too much water isn't good either. Water poisoning is very very rare, but it's important to know that it exists(some people tend t ogo over board)..

You look like you lost way more than you did. Means you put on some decent muscle too. Congrats! =)

Running after a child, cooking, walking the dog... I don't think you're very sedentary, but I don't know how many hours a day you spend sitting at the desk hrdcore studying. Either way, I wouldn't trust that specific calculator, it seems to be a little too generous. 4000 is probably closer to an athlete unless you're very…

.... MONSTERS! >.< That just pisses me off sooo bad. Why are there so many sick people out there, and why can't they just keep it to themselves??? Must be hard to be so public. I feel bad enough about myself and the only one picking on me is myself!

I firmly believe that there is mold in coffee. Just look at how it's produced and treated. It would be a miracle if it was completely mold free. I don't think there's mold in all coffee tho, but it's hard to say which is which.. Not all mold is of the visible kind. I just dont think its something one should worry about…

Most diets are "bulletproof". If you follow them 100%. Trouble is that most people can't follow a diet 100% that doesn't suit them 100%. I don't doubt that he could have lost 100 lbs with this diet, just as many others have on similar diets, but it's not for everyone and it's certainly no miracle cure for obesity.

Tough to answer. I think muscle mass is more important than actual weight. Not the most satisfying answer, I know, but it's the truth. I would say stop trying to lose weight since your weight is ok, and start focusing on building muscle.

Me wants pictures.

He didn't ask you to check out his diary though so I don't think this thread it promoting anything unhealthy. This is just a person who just wanted to know some good ways to fight cravings. We don't know if he logs everything he eats or if he's even aiming for 800 and unless he wants to tell us, thats not our business. =)…

In stews, soups and sauces you can use philadelphia instead of flour to thicken it. If you want a wrap of some sort you can either use romaine lettuce or make an omelette as a wrap When cooking, you can roast/stirfry veggies of all sorts and serve instead of rice/pasta/potatoes with your main. If anyone wants pasta or rice…

Hard to say. It depends on what you follow. If you're on an LCHF type diet then sushi is not for you. If you're looking for whole foods then brown rice sushi would be the way to go(or cauliflower rice). White rice isn't the end of the world, especially the amounts you consume in sushi tho. If you're looking for a type of…

In such short time... AMAZING! Good for you. =)

Interesting. I just asked my boyfriend where he thought I was at. He told me I'm the 15-17% one. I told him I disagree and that I think im a 25%. He looked highly annoyed and said that, if anything, Im the 20-22 but that even that is stretching it. That tells you something about self-perception, does it not? And the…

Will we be getting pictures of this? :p

I've ended up at the gym with like bike shorts and a short top once or twice. I was slightly embarrassed, but I rocked it all the same. :p Tho, I feel sort of awkward when I'm really pushing, you know when it's to the point you start grunting, panting and "moaning"... That's when I appreciate that our gym has a ladies-only…

As long as they stay out of the free weight station and don't hog the treadmill I couldn't care less. :p Their fitness, their problem.

1000 kcal equals about 0.3 pounds(150 gram), if im not mistaken, not very much if you think about it. If your goal is to stay 500 kcal under your maintenance kcal every day then you'll be back on track in 2 days tops. Exercising is actually the lesser factor in losing weight. Especially strength training. Now, don't be…

Alot of people that are trying to build intake some sort of slow protein before bed to reduce muscle loss while sleeping. If you're not a muscle loving bodybuiler fanatic I think you'll do fine without eating protein riht before bed. =)

Breakfast/lunch/snack: Oatmeal porridge Greek yoghurt with lots of fruit Crisp bread Dinner is more difficult for me to figure out... but usually boiled veggies with whatever I can find in the cupboards is what I eat for dinner or a sallad of some sort(I love pasta sallad, chicken sallad or olives and feta).

I don't think it's really jealousy. I've gotten the same thing before. Worried looks, realtives poking around to find out if I'm still trying to lose more weight and saying I shouldn't. It takes time for people to adjust and get used to you being a smaller you. Just like it takes time for us to accept that we are smaller.…

I top my porridge with pretty much anything. :p Try making gingerbread or chocolate flavoured porridge and topping it with sliced orange wedges.

I dig the one that says "Don't attempt to stop chain with hands" on a chainsaw... =/

Yup. Kept dropping my goal weight, never happy with what I saw in the mirror. Now I've given myself a weight window and a minimum weight. If I'm not happy with my body I'll just have to start building more muscle instead. =)

I just have to recommend the app "Zombies, run!" (by Six to Start). The first time I used it I ran at 7 km/h average instead of my usual km/h with very few breaks. There's nothing like having a personal trainer tell you that you better run or the zombies are gonna eat you!

Long haired people! My hair is about 2/3 of my own length and very VERY thick and heavy. I couldn't work out if I didn't have it braided and even then I have to be careful where I swing it(I've "punched" myself AND strangers before). When I worked out every day I usually kept my hair braided and washed my body every other…

"Slower" activities such as walking is good for losing FAT, however if your goal is to just lose weight - asap - then running or other more vigorous activities will make that happen quicker. I lost 3-4 kg in a month last spring by eating healthy and taking 1 hour walk/day. Way more than I should have been able to drop…
