I agree with the poster above. It is very important to consume at least 0.8 GM's of protein/lb of body weight. 1 GM per pound if you work out regularly. I use whey protein shakes to help meet my protein goal. Are you loosing weight with what you are doing?

Hello My baby is 2 weeks old and I am exclusively breastfeeding as well. I know about the 500 cal extra thing, but does anyone know if there is a net cal limit to keep up our milk supply and what it is. I'm going to research online and I will let you know if I find out.

I have the same problem. I gain up to 4 punds but I have noticed I tend to give into cravings more the week before. So I tend to eat higher sodium.
