  • Wow that's excellent advice!
  • I would like to know this too! I used to go to classes and enjoyed it but the classes were a bit too informal.
  • I have read about this and it is meant to be very good for you healthwise. I think with any kind of diet though, what is most important is how you feel doing it yourself. I think the best diet is one that suits your lifestlye, keeps you healthy and makes you feel good. Why not try it and let us know how it goes for you?
  • You look younger too!
  • I am 5'10". Does anyone gte sick of people telling them they don't need to lose weight because they are tall and it doesn't look so noticeable being overweight as a tall person?
  • I just signed up to MFP a few days ago and when I did I had to choose a goal - whether to lose 2lb or 1lb a week, maintain weight or put on weight. Once you get to target if you change your goal in the settings on your profile to maintain your weight it should give you a new calorie allowance.
  • I'm on 1230 calories a day and am only on day 3 as I just started on Sunday. It's going ok so far but I earn some extra calories by walking my dog so I can have some little treats! I try to eat fairly healthily but at the moment I'm concentrating on getting my weight down without depriving myself or eating to many 'boring'…
  • How is it going? I have just been reading about going primal and have been thinking of giving it a go. I just don't know if I want to cut out the sweet stuff completely though.
  • I just started MFP today and have also tried following a point counting diet which I really didn't like. I found it near impossible to stay within my points allowance without feeling really deprived and sick of fruit!
