I grew up hating vegetables and as an adult barely tolerated them. More recently I’ve taken to roasting them and can’t quite believe the difference. I add any spices I have available and haven’t yet been disappointed.

Stretching exercises from a physiotherapist did the trick for me. Hurt like crazy initially but you have to keep going.

I bought a pair of cotton culottes/slip last summer when for the first time ever my thighs were chafing when I walked. They did the trick and were loose enough to feel like an ordinary slip.

I haven’t had a successful week - too many Xmas goodies in the office. I have stayed the same. With Christmas next Monday I think it will be 1 January before I’m more focused. Hey, at least it wasn’t a gain!

171 lbs starting weight.

My first aim is to lose 7 lbs by end of February. (I’m not thinking of the bigger picture as it feels overwhelming.). I’m excited to be a part of a group that has the same struggles and goals to give each other a boost.

I was last down at goal 17 years ago and maintained at about 7-10lbs above it for over 10 years. Happy Birthday Aganey. I watched a programme where the adult pressed on one nostril and blew quickly into the child’s mouth to dislodge something in the other nostril. Child was a toddler. Walk home from work at 4.45 pm and it was dark! Roll on Spring. 40 minutes in total today.

Hope you’re feeling better too aganey. I was out for 1.5 hours, some window-shopping but mostly on the move. Visited the cenotaph at the Cathedral for Remembrance Sunday.

Me: 10 LNS: 1 (or 0.5!) I ate about 12 Pringles from someone else’s snack, which is nowhere near as bad as I’ve been previously where I’d easily eat a full pack followed by chocolate and cake. Overall I’m proud I stopped.
