Sometimes the people who love you the most or who SHOULD support you the most, just don't. Whatever reason that is, you won't know unless you pull your mom aside and talk to her. Tell her that you don't appreciate her comments and to please keep out the negativity. As far as the X-coworker, what a horrible thing to say to…

In the morning! It gives me energy for the rest of the day, doesn't get in the way of my family time, and the gyms are less packed.

Have faith in yourself. Have faith in your body. Have faith in your mind. You have strength beyond your comprehension. Stole that from someone i follow on instagram! Speaks to me though.

I start stage 6 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I'm terrified especially of the negative chin up! Mostly because i don't want to make a fool out of myself at the gym! So from skimming through the comments most of you are not adding a weight belt, just holding for X amount of seconds? I can't even do one chin up now so I am hoping this…

AMAZING!! Congratulations!

I can relate! Add me :) I was a runner competing in half marathons and always lifted a little bit. Now it is the other way around, I lift and occassionally run.

I agree with @tartsul. Don't freak out! You are still early in and have more stages to come! I am about to start stage 6. My recommendation is to throw away the scale! Or hide it. I have gained about 5lbs. Remember muscle weights much more than fat. And although the last time i weighed myself i was up, my clothes fit me…

Absolutely gorgeous!! Congratulations to you and good luck with the remainder of your weight loss!

I do my AMRAP from Workout A, stage 1 tomorrow. And i was curious to see if it was even worth it! But from your comments I guess you got a good workout from it. I'm scared of moving on to Stage 2 and learning the new workouts!

I was eating 1200 calories a day, and in the book it suggested i eat 2100 calories! I thought that was a little much and have increased my calorie intake to 1500 calories. It would have been too hard for me to eat that many calories in a healthy and clean way. So far it is working for me. I am really listening to my body…

Congratulations! I'm just getting started and your success motivates me!

I just started the New Rules for Women. Any advice or suggestions? I want to build muscle (obviously) and get stronger. How did you work the additional calories?
