ISFJ, I always get this, and it very well describes me

I have maintained for a year and half. I still log and weight everything. Logging is the first time I realized how often I would undereat, and then get so hungry I binge. I will continue to log and weigh the rest of my life. It helps me see when I have eaten enough food, so if I think I'm hungry, I can decide if it's true…

This just breaks my heart with the comments you are receiving from your therapist and your family. It's so damaging when you are in such a fragile state. I don't feel qualified to tell you what you should do, however would it be possible to find another therapist? Is the one you are seeing someone who specializes in eating…

This is a helpful thread as I get this often from my coworkers as well. It's amazing how eating healthy can get so many negative comments or even having a healthy weight. I get told I was "healthier" before. Um, no I was 200 pounds and I'm 5 foot 4 - that is not healthy!

I feel it's worth it! I have seen other post this, but I have learned to handle stress much better because of exercise and not chosing to feel sorry for myself and stuff my face. I'm out trying new things in life and really starting to live my life finally. I suppose it all depends on the individual. I just think there is…

This is very helpful and something I have been struggling with lately.

I do a cheat meal not an entire day. But, I suppose it depends on each person individually and how well they can handle the extra calories. I do a cheat day once every few months for special occasions only.

I am!

Congratulations! You look fantastic!

That sounds terrible and would make me want to find a different gym! You are paying for their services - so they can feel confident in that you will continue to pay them to get your results! You are an adult and nobody should scold you as if you are a child. You know that not following your diet plan was going to not…

Please feel free to add me! My friends list is a little small right now. I'm always looking for more friends on here. Bonus if anyone is in the Kansas City area.

I agree with others in the fact I already pay for a gym membership and a personal trainer so why not for some quest bars that i love as well? I eat one a day. I just try to look for sales but if not I still buy them. I like them more than any other protein bar I have tried.

Thank you so much for sharing your "journey". I can relate to several aspects of your childhood as I also did not have much parental guidance and used food to cope as well. I can also relate to being "rigid" with logging and what you eat. It's how I finally got results. You have to really want it and put the work in. It…

I get this all the time as well. I'm anywhere from 124 to 126 and am only 5 foot 3 and half. I just don't really say anything to acknowledge their comments and keep remembering my goals and that I'm doing this for me! ( And I'm not trying to lose weight but continue to lower my bodyfat.)

Sweet potatoes!

OH my goodness! You look so much younger now!! Congrats! Amazing job!

Way to go! You should be very proud.

You are amazing and very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.

I work out 6 days a week sometimes 5 if I have something else going on that week. I do cardio, tabata and lift. Right now I only lift 2 days a week with an upper and lower split. On those days I do 20 minutes of cardio, lift and then finish off with tabata on the treadmill.

It's amazing the rude comments people feel they can make to someone who has slimmed down. I was asked if I lost weight on purpose or if it was because of an illness. lol. But I have been asked/told a lot of rude things. I try to brush it off. Obviously a lot of people don't know what a healthy weight is.

I am 5 foot 3 and half (so I round up to 5 foot 4) and I weighed in at 126 this morning. I eat around 1900 to 2300 calories a day. I also work out 6 days a week as well lifting and doing cardio and tabata. I typically eat the following: chicken sweet potatoes brown rice ground turkey (93% 7%) dark chocolate protein shakes…

I feel they are necessary. I found I was wayyyy under estimating portions. No wonder I was always hungry and then bingeing. My scale measures in grams and ounces. So I can, measure dry foods and measure meat by the ounce.

I can relate to a lot of what you posted (lack of close friends nearby and I also love horses!). I know it's tough but the first step is to really believe in yourself you can do this. You have to look at this positively as something that will happen and not look at all the negative in your life waiting for it to happen. I…

I am 5 foot 3 and half (that half is important!) and I eat between 1850 to 2200. But I don't how helpful that is as I still drop weight! I think you just have to play around with it.
-
Feel free to add me. I've lost almost 80 pounds. And I didn't announce my weight loss plans to anyone except my immediate family. Though, obviously over time others did notice.
-
Same here, Mine says 135 though I was probably 150 at the time. I'm 130 right now.
-
Just saving my spot because I struggle to measure my recipes.

Bump for later

Fantastic job! I really appreciate your openeness. You can tell you have made this a lifestyle change for good.
