You get used to it. On 1200, you have to be smart about your choices and I think that's how most of us cope, we don't have room for bad choices. I do low carb and generally feel great and always full. I did slip up and currently powering through carb withdrawals, plus being back on 1200 cals, plus time of the month. I feel…

I have a 6 year old with xp22.11 microdeletion syndrome, suspected autism but they will not diagnose. It is a rare genetic disorder which affects how the brain forms in the womb, but there's very little actually known about it so my son is one of the case studies. Ironically, my son struggles to gain weight and I think he…

Every morning, when I'm getting dressed. I only log it weekly, But I feel like daily weigh ins keep me focused. Helps me readjust if it starts creeping up too, I'm losing 2lbs a week so it usually goes down every day. If it doesnt, I make a point to have a lighter dinner or drink more water etc

I just had a weekend of eating whatever, it was 4 days and I was cool with that, it was planned in advance. And then I had another 2 days of takeaways because I was too tired to cook (too much time with other people). I gained about 8lbs, had a few days on plan and lost 5lbs. It's really not that bad, it's mostly water and…

Install the app Fabulous. Seriously.

I'm on 1200 and eat back exercise calories, losing 2lbs a week. In fact, knowing I'm eating the calories back is my biggest motivation to exercise! I think that's ultimately the goal, to keep it sustainable and promote long term healthy habits. But you don't have to eat them if it works for you.

I do low carb high fat (not keto) and absolutely love it. It's no more successful than simply eating less than you burn but for me, the benefits go far beyond losing weight. My mind is clearer, skin is clearer (25 but my face still hasn't recovered from puberty), I have much more energy and generally just happier. I love…

Currently 220lbs (holding onto some water weight) goal 209lbs To improve - planning on buying an exercise bike.

Do you mean it's predicting you'll lose more or less than your calorie deficit says you will? I quite like it, it told me yesterday I'd lose 10lbs in 5weeks which I think is pretty accurate for how I'm progressing

That's around when I'm expecting to see it, I feel something's about to start changing soon, I'm down 2 stone so praying it happens soon. My size 14 jeans are just waiting patiently to see daylight again

I don't tend to weigh or measure, sometimes I will but I won't measure protein or veg, I don't see the point, so I guess most. Like I'm not weighing a chicken breast, because I don't mind being a few calories out. But I have a printout of portion sizes by the cooker so I feel like I can make good enough judgements. I'm on…

I have a few goals, my first was to lose 10%, now working on the next 10%, which will take me down to the 100s. Then my goal after that is the last weight I remember being before I gained so much. And then 40lbs off that takes me to a healthy bmi. I'm aiming for the 100s before the new year and then see where I'm at.

Can I ask, how much did you lose before you started noticing or drop a size? You've done amazingly!

Start weight - 230lbs 3rd July - 228lbs 10th July - 224lbs Absolutely delighted as had a couple days of not counting calories or macros, assumed I'd gain.

I've not long finished my degree, so part of my motivation is to make sure my physical appearance doesn't become an obstacle when looking for work! I want to work in a school with kids who have additional needs and don't want to be assumed as physically incapable in such a demanding line of work. That and I'm just sick of…

Start weight - 230lbs July 3rd - 228lbs Successes/struggles - I'm so pleased, but my biggest success is my disabled son walked a longer distance than ever before, after joining me on daily walks  no struggles to speak of, have been getting black spots when I stand - suspect low blood sugar. Hoping it goes away or…

I'm on fitbit too, I'll add you now :)

Add me if you like, I'm in the UK but always available. I'm 25 next week. I haven't had exactly the same experience, But most of my weight has been due to emotional and mental health issues - I became a single parent at 18 and found out my son is disabled at 20, I've been a student doing my degree at home for the past 4…

I'm in! I'm at 12,195 today, it's almost 9pm and not planning on many more :)

I hated water too, I used to be addicted to energy drinks but now mostly drink water/coffee and the occasional sugar free juice. What I did was I'd start only drinking the sugar free energy drinks, then sugar free regular drinks, then sugar free flavoured sparkling water, then sugarefree stI'll flavoured water. And now I…

I love eggs. 2-3 every morning. Often I eat an entire carton of eggs in a day, they're my favourite food. I just chuck in whatever's to hand - you can't go wrong.

I don't usually, but then I usually don't know exactly what I'm having until it's made. But logged today's lunch last night - was taking my son to MacDonalds, planned on having a light dinner but it worked out not so bad so haven't had to readjust

I'm doing low carb, because it really seems to work for me - both with weight loss and generally feeling better since I have to cut out sugar. I like using mfp for it because it helps me make sure I'm not going overboard with fats/protein to compensate. But i also have a few other apps too. Mfp just seems easiest to…

Luckily, my two year old will quite happily play on his own while I work out. I have to be in another room though or he gets in my way. He has special needs so can't walk and has only just learned to crawl so I know he can't get into anything except his books and toys really. He still naps so sometimes I do then although…

I wouldn't even consider cutting out coffee! But I am more of a regular coke drinker. I can not stand the diet or zero stuff, has to be regular. I will fail if I have no coke, sweets, chocolate and cake I could care less about, but I can't give up coke. It's a lot worse for you, sugar wise, than coffee obviously but it's…

Weirdest thing I've eaten is little slimy, disgusting, booger-like creatures from the sea. I can't remember what they are called but they were disgusting.
