my suggestion for quitting soda: 4 steps: 1. Stop buying it. 2. Stop drinking it. 3. Drink other things like water with lemon, or water with a raspberry tea bag in it. 4. profit

check out http://www.supplementwarehouse.com/ I've had nothing but great experiences with them. They instantly price-match. And, there's a ton of little freebies (quasi-freebies--they add to the shipping cost), but they're great-- like their shakers for instance. I like ON products. I've tried a bunch. I prefer then…

"you can't out-exercise a bad diet" seems to be the lesson, not that spinnig sucks. Running sucks too if instead of running you slowly walked .1 miles over an hour and then consumed 3 bigmacs to reward yourself for "running."

Garmin HRM (Forerunner is good). The built-in calorie estimators SUCK on most watches IMHO. Instead. Get a decent chest-strap HRM, and use this formula: The Journal of Sports Sciences provides a calorie expenditure formula for each gender. Men use the following formula: Calories Burned = [(Age x 0.2017) -- (Weight x…

The idea behind the proper plate method is to put bigger quantities of the right foods and smaller portions of the bad foods on your plate. See: http://www.extension.iastate.edu/foodsavings/plan/menuplanning/plate/

I use a Garmin Forerunner HRM. Then use this formula: The Journal of Sports Sciences provides a calorie expenditure formula for each gender. Men use the following formula: Calories Burned = [(Age x 0.2017) -- (Weight x 0.09036) + (Heart Rate x 0.6309) -- 55.0969] x Time / 4.184. Women use the following formula: Calories…
