Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? No What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Got off my behind and took a shower. What would I have done differently? Stayed on plan. What is today's goal? Stay within calorie limits. Did you try something new recently (food, exercise,…

Don't beat yourself up over it. If anyone want's to tell you to use some self-control send them to get a prescription for seroquel to give it a try.
-
I understand. I was on seroquel for two years and gained 60 pounds that I never got rid of after stopping it. I'd take it, get in bed, fall asleep, wake back up, zombie to the kitchen and eat and eat. Got so I just bought bags of snacks and put them beside my bed because I fell a couple times due to the medication being so…

I had a bilio pancriatic diversion with a duodenal switch (a form of weight loss surgery) five years ago and have to this day kept the weight off. I had a lot of complications needing home health care and self administering IV antibiotics, through a pic line, daily for six weeks. I had to be fed with a liquid through the…

I'm sorry to say the only way to get rid of it is surgery. Think of a balloon after the air is let out and it's all flabby looking. That's skin after the fat is gone. Exercising will firm the muscle behind it and make it look a little better. Unfortunately, exercising won't make it go away. I've lost over 115 pounds and…

I was at the bakery for a quarter sheet birthday cake every week. I'd eat the whole thing myself with ice cream. At the end they used to say enjoy your cake. As huge as I was they had to know they were for me. No one needs a birthday cake weekly.

I have to disagree with you when you say gaining weight while pregnant is necessary. Baby weight and fluid weight is necessary, but fat is not. I weighed three pounds less with the birth of my first and one pound less with my second. Saying you got "fat" while pregnant is a cop out. Sorry, but when I hear someone say that…

I always hate reading this type of post. In 32 years my husband has never once called me a name, shamed, or degraded me. Even when he had to put my shoes on for me due to my weight he never said a thing. Maybe you could talk to him about his projecting his feelings about his body on you and the fact that you are already…

Just don't ever forget that you are an overweight person. By that I mean that our metabolisms lead us to put on weight unlike a naturally thin person. If I find myself going overboard or I've gained a few pounds that's what I tell myself while I get a mental picture of my former self and think of the things I couldn't do.…

So I don't have another massive heart attack. Ate myself to a huge blockage. Told only 1% survive such a bad heart attack. My numbers are all good and I no longer have chest pains or shortness of breath.

Medication. Went from constant obsession to thinking about it only a couple times a day and when I do eat I'm done with a lot less food.

I took it a few years back for weight loss. It did nothing and gave me horrible diarrhea.

I've been the second shift night clerk at a motel for six years now and I feel ya. I've stopped being intimidated or hurt by people. Even being robbed didn't phase me. I'm so jaded now it's ridiculous. I've come to feel the entire human race are all ****. They lie, scam, insult anyone they can, have no respect for others…

Your not kidding. I was so sick when I went off it my husband put a mattress in the TV room so he could watch me. I even wrote a letter to the FDA telling them it shouldn't be on the market. Horrid stuff.

When I had to have my husband put on my shoes and socks for the first time. I was horrified at myself and embarrassed. Kept thinking what's next having him wipe my *kitten*. No way that was happening.

Just to be able to wear a shirt that's tucked in instead of out to hide my gut.

Just for today I won't eat sugar or refined carbs. Those have been my whole diet since about May. I'm feeling unhealthy and like a big slug. Gained back 23 pounds too.
-
I have great empathy for your situation as I find myself in the same boat. My bulimia is out of control right now. I was three pounds from my goal and started back in. I've regained 23 of the 140 pounds I lost. I want my skinny back. I think the cure has to come from within. There is no person or thing that can get you to…

Ya know, you are deserving of a better relationship with a loving person. There is someone out there who will love you unconditionally no matter what your weight is. Don't have the mindset (if you do) that no one else would want you at your current weight. That simply isn't true. All be it, you may have to be single for a…

Good God Almighty, you are absolutely gorgeous. Congrats and be proud.

Where the heck did your hips go? No, really, your hips are now nice and curvy. When you reach goal, probably before, you're going to have one hot figure.
-
Total transformation. You look happy in your afters and so unhappy and a little angry in the befores. Be proud of yourself.

Exess skin doesn't disappear no matter how much you exercise unless it's not too bad. Building muscle will make it look a bit better. If it is exessive, plastic surgery is about the only thing you can do. At first my arms bothered the hell out of me and I wore long to 3/4 sleeve shirts even in summer. I've gotten to the…

The UK. Would you tell a creepy person, who was hitting on you in a rude way, off or would you just ignore it and walk away?

Five month old apricot miniature poodle named rusty, two five month old maltipoos named Peatrie and Jax. Went to get one maltipoo and since there were only two left I couldn't see leaving one behind to be all alone. The poodle I got because, well, I was on a puppy buying roll. I also have a 15 year old long-haired gray…

Rheumatoid arthritis sufferer here. It settles in my left toe and the joint along the side as well as my hips and knees. When it gets bad I push through it. It lets up once I'm done. I mean walking through Wal-Mart is tough too, but I still go shopping.

I used the gum for a couple months. Doc said it was better to be addicted to gum than cigarettes. It's been 13 years now and I never have a craving. In fact, when I see someone smoking it makes my lungs hurt. You can do it and not gain weight.
