Qdoba and Chipotle are good because you can go to their websites and customize your meal so you know what to add.

I would say if you find yourself obsessed, this is probably not the only thing you obsess about. Obsessive behavior about food is usually a symptom of something greater.

I do something similar - at least 30 minutes of cardio, and for weights the machines are good for exactly the reason of having the form references. However, I'm not as heavy on the abs, at least for myself.

I'm 23. Feel free to add.

One of my go-to's are mini peppers from your local produce - they're bite size, have a nice snap, and there's a good bit of fiber.

My boyfriend dropped me like a hot potato only a few days ago, so this V-day will suck in particular.

Soph, you're not alone, I promise. Feel free to add me.

Has found her noobs and is no longer accepting new applicants. :) I'm returning to MFP after a break - I am willing to "adopt" one or two new folks who might need a bit of support in terms of staying on the horse. I dance, I do the elliptical for my cardio, and I like basic weight training. I am all about comfort food, so…

I'd say you can fudge the numbers a bit. Especially if you're not keeping stuff down, I'd only count half of your usual serving of something because if you're throwing up, it's not likely you're holding onto all the nutrients.

I figure it's just something that we're more aware of. Disordered eating/self-images issues have never been gender-exclusive, but I think more guys are willing to admit these struggles.

You're in good company, sister.

5'3", have been as low as 133, as high as 210, am currently at 169. I'll take all the support I can get to get back down to the 130's somewhere.

Yeah, exactly, Medifast is not good exercise fuel in the slightest.
-
Ugh, see, this is why I cannot stand Medifast. Reconstituted soy is not sufficient for your bodily needs, and I honestly don't believe the vitamin counts are as high as they say they are. Please, for the love of yourself and your wallet, just use MFP.

Noct, I'm here for that, but I keep my diary closed. I've gotta get back on the ball.

If you must keep snacks: Veggies, fruit and gum are your friends. Occasionally, I like SmartFood popcorn, they have a white cheddar flavor that has a nice little zip.

Miss Lee: I'm just gonna ask, do you really feel that shaming yourself works? I find for myself that it only makes me more frustrated and more likely to give up. Also, this is the time where reminding yourself of any non-scale victories or non-health related achievements might be helpful. From your profile, I see that you…

Sam is one of the people in this life that just makes me really consistently happy.

I'm gonna echo what everyone else is saying. Get to your doctor, or at least send an email explaining your symptoms.

Any and all Sam Smith songs.

Hey Shay - like others have been saying, there are plenty of ways to modify comfort food to make it healthier, but keep the taste. My question is, what sort of foods do you like?

I use a different brand of tracker (LifeTrak) and what I do is to take an average between my net calories there and what's calculated here. (For those who don't know, net calories = total calories burned during workout - what calories you'd burn without any activity) In my case, my LifeTrak says that when I'm sedentary and…

Du, you're a grown woman and you can do what you like. However, I know that for me, this would be enormously difficult to achieve in the time-span you suggest. I hover between 150 to 155, so 20 percent down would be a loss of about thirty pounds. Especially given that I have a sedentary job and that I have long hours, I…

Folks: For reference, I can maintain a run speed of about 5 mph.

A creativity tree - where you could pluck one of the fruits, eat it, and your mind would get that extra boost to think outside of the box.
