How to include Regular Exercise
I walk about 10 minutes round-trip to get from my train station to my office at least three times a week. It doesn't really strain me, so I don't tend to count it towards my daily exercise totals. Is this sensible? I figure if it doesn't affect me much anymore, I shouldn't inflate my numbers.

How often to run
I just made it through my first 5k ever (YAY!!!) and I know I'm likely doing another one in October, that is to say in about 10 weeks. Should I focus on that October race and train accordingly for maintenance, or is it possible to fit in another race between now and then? I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this.
