If you could please send the link to that info, I'll retract my statement. However, I clicked on the links under "references" and there was nothing about anyone with nutrition info. And not all nutritionists need degrees. Hell,...I'm a nutritionist!

Ok...I looked at both of those links. The first is about laxitive abuse, and the second mainly about ipecac and dangerous diet habits. They don't prove...or show ANYTHING to benefit lemon water.

If it's not caffinated you should be good :)

No offense...but the livestrong website is written by someone with a business degree, and the http://www.outofstress.com/lemon-water-lose-weight/ website is written by someone that does not say ANY credentials. No offense to people...but you need to start looking at your sources. Anyone can say anything and it will get…

Not trying to start anything...but wouldn't anything hot do this? I know I have coffee in the morning and it gets everything moving for me! :)
-
It sounds like the warm lemon water may just be filling you up so you don't eat as much. I know if I drink anything hot, it makes me feel full. If it's the vitamin C...why not just take a vitamin C pill? If it's in excess...it's a water soluble vitamin so you'll pee out the excess.

Wow! I agree your mom looks great!!! Go mom! Granted I'm a ways away...but I know that carolwright gifts, or harriet carter sells stuff like that. I hope she gets something!

I agree with the Jesus ones. I would LOVE to hear what He has to say! And what I should do...etc. I know there are a lot on nonbelievers out there...but I'm asking that we let each to their own.

I like a lot of these! How about too...at least for me....uneducated. I went on a date with a guy and mentioned that I was a "perpetual student" and he had to ask me what "perpetual" meant. Aye aye aye :) And for me....liberal :)
-
Yep. I found like 7 studies showing that it isn't the injections or drops that cause any weightloss....it's the eating 500 calories a day that causes the loss. If you're looking for something that you won't waste your money on....do lapband. That said, I do agree that healthy eating and a lifestyle change is the best way…

It's permanent. I had it done on my underarms. I still have to shave but really only like once every week or 2. They told me that any touch up was free, but now they are saying that I would have to pay $40 for the room, and then I'd get 40 pulses for free. So...we'll see if I go back. I can handle once a week if needed.

wow...sad

In an office....you need to be professional. Letting the girls hang out isn't professional. In a club or whatever...then that's up to you. But office work, needs to be professional and modest, and the emphasis needs to be on the work, not some girls ta's hanging out. I wouldn't be offended....but I really don't think it's…

That almost sounds like you could be developing some unhealthy habits. I would try to do some self talk...like "this isn't going to hurt me, it's okay to eat it." If that doesn't work, you may need to see someone. I don't want to overstep my bounds here, but it almost sounds like you could be starting to develop an eating…

I use benefiber as well. I make crystal light, and just add it. I would talk to someone with degrees and full knowledge of nutrition for any "real" advice. I know Dr's have a broad spectrum of knowledge, and sometimes nutrition isn't their number 1 area. I would recommend talking to a registered dietitian. There are a…

That is awesome!!! You're doing great!

I agree with the switching inclines. It hits different muscles then.

Some "liquid courage" may help :) edit: Sorry...I just saw your age...Ignore that :)
-
I would try to approach a guy in a place you go often, because then right off the bat..you have something in common. Also, I would have some topic starters ready...like, where are you from? So, what do you do? etc. Good luck!!! I'm sure you'll do awesome though :)

Could you pack a lunch with a lunch box? That's what I do when I'm at school all day. I have a small ice pack that I put in the insulated lunch box, and make a sandwhich and bring yogurt too.

It's all about calories. Sugar doesn't necesarily cause weight gain....neither does sodium. I know sodium my make you hold on to more water weight, but you can still lose weight overall even if you have some water weight left in you. So...I agree that eating crap that's only 1200 calories will make you lose weight, but it…

Just want to clarify for all reading ....but we talked about this, and we think it's the bad reputation that weight watchers and jenny craig and some gyms have protrayed. Also, it TOTALLY depends on where you go! Hospitals and any legit medical facility will not hire people without degrees......but be careful and just…

Some people do need degrees. I didn't mean to offend anyone. But, coming from WI, my mom is a registered dietician, and has dealt with people who call themselves nutritionists without degrees. That's awesome that you got your masters in nutrition! My point....was that I guess maybe it depends where you come from, or where…
-
Nutrionists don't need degrees in nutrition. I don't listen to anything they say. You should talk to a registered dietitian (who has to do continuing education to maintain their registration). Fitness trainers don't need degrees in nutrition either. So, I don't buy that until I see it coming from someone who has the…

I agree I would be annoyed. But, losing weight is science and math. Calories in equals calories out, and you're fine. If you eat 1200 calories of twinkies, or 1200 calories of healthy food, you will lose the same. However....you will overall be more healthy if you eat healthy food. It's frustrating...but you hang in there!…
-
Yessss!! You are responsible for what you do! Period!!! If you eat bad stuff...you're going to feel bad. That's how it is!
-
I've never heard of those! I would love to hear what other people have to say about this. :)
-
Yep! It's FREE!!! Or walking. And...youtube has some workout videos on it! So that's free too! Good luck!

If you are over on protein, make sure you drink a lot of water to help flush the protein through your body. I know that extra protein, over time, can be harmful to your kidneys. Not to think of all that saturated fat that helps clog arteries. I would try to be more cafeful with it....but, that's my opinion. Good luck!

Whoa...I'm from WI..and I think it's different, but sweet when people say that! I don't take it as anything bad or mean.... Now that I live in the south, I hear it ALLLL the time plus being called "mam" at 29...I'm getting used to. In the north (WI) to be called mam when you were young was seen as more offensive. Funny how…
