^^YES, this exactly! Especially teachers aides, they make so little. Who cares about pictures in lingerie?? Anybody who's walked past a victoria secret store has seen it. There's way worse "second jobs" that she could have gotten....

25 years old Waist: 30" Hips: 41.75" Thigh: 23.75" Bust: 39" I am 5'6 and currently weight around 156. I had a baby 6 months ago (hence the larger bust/hips) and my pre-preg weight was 147 (size 6). I would like to be a size 6 again, whatever weight that may be :) I'm more interested in measurements than lbs.

You look awesome! I didnt know about the LMC challenge. I do les mills combat classes at the Y and I LOVE them. Did you do an at home DVD?

I used to be a total scale addict, and it caused me a lot of problems. I didnt care whether I was losing fat or water, as long as I was losing something. I no longer even own scales. I'll weigh myself once a week, max at the YMCA, but I take that with a grain of salt as the scale becomes unbalanced often. I record my…

I have a friend who calls me "skinny mini" every week and says that I am "rail thin" and "dont need to lose more weight." I'm 6 months post-baby and I am a size 12 pants and I weight 160ish at 5'5. I used to be about 145 and I was a size 6. Some people give me a hard time, and others notice the effort and say the…

I think that it is awesome that you are trying to make a positive change. As someone who had an ED for 13 years I know what you are doing is not an easy thing at all. I find what helps me the most is to focus more on the positive reasons to eat a certain food. For example when I eat an avocado I think about how the…

I'll admit, I really and truly love mashed cauliflower with garlic. I also like cauliflower in my mixed veg in stir fry and deep fried cauliflower. Om nom nom.

The doctor I work for would give phentermine out like candy. In all honesty, only about 1 in 50 or less actually had favorable results. Most saw no result. As a PP had said, it needs to be used as a tool towards better habits, not as a crutch (and most people used it as such.) The diet and exercise is the key, if you…

^^yes!!!! dont look back and say you didnt get to have a blast! Go out, drink lots of tasty drinks people buy you...eat some midnight pizza and some tasty pancakes in the morning (or whenever you wake up)...and the day after your hangover....go back to what youre doing now. One day wont kill you, friend :)

Carbs are great foods. With that said...i personally have troubles with pastas/breads because I am recovering from bulimia and high glycemic foods trigger binges for me...so unlike a lot of posters...I tend to eat higher fat and higher protein. But thats what works for me, other people are different!

ive heard theres some truth to that. My supplements are liquid that I drink as "juice" in the morning (actual juice is WAY too sweet these days) so I throw some in there occasionally.

Yum yum, love my carbs: my fruits, veg, grains. Ive never had issues regarding time of day to eat them...just be sensible. Eat as whole, unprocessed as you can...don't go eating your weight in fruit....and if you want the more "junky" processed empty calorie carbs...go for it...small amounts and in moderation within your…

if I am cooking an omlette/eggs (where I use the MOST cheese) I put in minced garlic and salsa or frans red hot instead.Otherwise I peel a cheese stick to stay within portion sizes :)

I do know of a bunch of people on here who do well with a 1200-1400 calorie diet. Me? Not so much! I used to aim to eat about 1500-1700 while working out, and unless I picked the right foods that was tough! Now that I am also nursing a 3 month old child I have to eat around 1800 if I'm not very active that day, and I eat…

I hear that! SO many people rush to the doctors office at the first sniffle, and that is such a waste of money for the patient and the insurance companies (or government if medicaid/medicare) I will have to look into ACV for sore throats,my go to natural remedy is boiled ginger tea, it has antibacterial and antiviral…

agreed. Id be a little nervous NOT to seek treatment for strep...it can do funky things to your heart

I'm HOPING that when I wean I will lose weight, because the scale hasnt budged in a month! my baby is almost 3 months so I have a bit to go!

im exclusively breastfeeding my 11week old. You can add breastfeeding if you search foods under breakfast....but I started changing it from -500 to -300 because I havent been losing the last month, so I think I'm accounting for too much somewhere. Im down 28lbs...but I put on 48 so I still have a bit to go.

Wow....didnt know until now that there were diaries! thats what I get for only using the phone app all this time! I hope you dont mind I add you as well!

OOOO! I need friends too! And would also like to be active with my son. Sending request...

OP, how low is your sugar? Blood sugar too low will encourage your body to store fat...even if you are diabetic you want to be in a good range. You could also get your thyroid bloodwork done again...weight gain can be a HUGE sign that you need your meds adjusted...especially if you're also having hair/skin/sleep changes.…

In our office we recommend colace daily to prevent constipation (esp in people on pain killers etc), its not a laxative it just softens the stools so it comes out easier. If its hard to go and you strain you can have issues later.

I've seen this prescribed in our office a few times now. In my opinion many of the patients who take this require nutritional counseling with a plan for weight loss after the medication is discontinued, as most doctors will only prescribe for up to 3-4 months. It is used most often in non-breastfeeding mothers trying to…

Due my own image/health issues b/c of teasing, one thing I've always stressed as a nanny (and hopefully will with my own kids someday!) is about making good choices b/c they're healthy. The 4 year old would ask "is a turkey sandwich healthy?" and I would say "Maddie, that sandwich gives growing kids good energy so that we…

the thing that bothers me the most is that even the 500calorie meals have almost an entire day (or more) worth of salt in them!
