Thanks. Since I have gym membership, I'll probably ask one of the trainers there for instruction on how to use them then look into getting my own. I was thinking of starting with a 4kg or 6kg, but I think that I should get a feel for them first as I've not tried them before.

I would personally favour a point between skinny and athletic.

I'm 5'4'' and started at 150lbs and am now 127lbs. my original goal weight was 125lbs, but I've now dropped it down to 110 -115lbs.
-
I'd say that you'd be best getting to 150lbs and then seeing how you feel and set a new goal if that's what you want. I am also 5'4 and 150lbs was my starting weight! :) I currently weigh 131lbs and my ultimate goal weight is between 112lbs - 120lbs so quite a bit smaller than your goal. But it depends where you started…

Well I think that the BMI should only be used as a guideline but not as an absolute. For those with more muscle mass, it may put them as overweight and for people with small frames it may put them as underweight even though they may be perfectly healthy. Especially as it was first devised in the 19th century so may no…

Yeah, I've hit a bit of a slump as well, but mostly because we went on holiday to Barcelona a couple of weeks ago.

Hi, I'm 5'4, 18 years old and from the UK. My highest, and starting weight on MFP, was 150lbs. Not massively overweight but not where I wanted to be. Starting stats: Weight - 150lbs Bust - 38 inches Waist - 32 inches Hips - 42 inches Current stats: Weight - 132lbs Bust - 36 inches Waist - 29.5 inches Hips - 39 inches My…

This is probably the best bra fitting and measuring guide. It was the one I was looking for to put in my post actually.
-
Hmm. Although this method doesn't add as much to the under bust measurement to get the band size, it's still adding. For me, it says I should wear a 34 band, but this will be too loose for me in all but the smallest fitting brands.
-
This. Really goof information on how bras should fit here.
-
This. A lot of high street shops that offer bra ''fitting'' services are really quite dubious. Many put you in band sizes that are too big and therefore cups that are too small. Thanks to Marks & spencer's, I was wearing a 36B for ages. But after doing some research about properly fitting bras, I knew that it was the wrong…

I'm a little shorter than 5''5 - I'm 5''4 but it's only an inch difference. SW: 150lbs CW: 138lbs GW: 125lbs to 115lbs, depending on how I feel/look. If I can get my waist down to about 26/27 inches (it's currently 30) and my hips down to 38 from 40 inches, I'll be happy.
-
Yeah, I thought that myself. But I don't have time in the morning to be spending alot of time making something. What would you suggest as an alternative to cereals for breakfast then?
-
I eat enough fat - I sometimes go over the allowance on here.

Any more replies?

Whoops - I've just made it public now. Bear in mind also that I started the diary on Wednesday and just put in what I ate without changing anything from what I'd normally have until Friday. I shall aimk to eat at least what I have (and am going to today) I may have been alittle too extreme on Friday. Also, the exercise…
-
Alright, could you look at my food diary and tell me where I'm going wrong.
-
I am eating over 1200 calories - and have no problem whatsoever doing so. If you were to look at my food diary, you will see that I am eating over that every day. It is my net calories which are below because I haven't eaten the exercise calories.
-
Well, I weigh 10st 10lb and am aiming to lose a stone.
-
ok - but the thing is I don't really feel hungry. I'll just continue for this week as I am, although I will try to eat more. Then, I will probably change things alittle next week.
