I have the opposite problem with the husband. lol. I have severe allergies and asthma with hives that has kept me on a ridiculous amount of meds, my doc even told me I wasn't going to lose much weight anytime soon. But I didn't give up. Even IF she's right and I can't "lose" weight, I can increase strength and endurance…

HOnestly, I don't think it IS all CICO. I have read several things lately that support the idea that the type of calories do matter. Your body processes sugar differently than protein, etc etc. I also read quite a bit, (today actually) that suggests that exercise for weight loss is not really productive. Of course you…

I totally used to think that. I was like, if I up my activity level but my food intake stays the same, how can I NOT lose weight. Obviously I learned that is not the case. And I agree with what all of you are saying. It may not help THAT much with weight loss compared to calorie restriction, but I would not get the…

Good point. Sorry that happened to you. Bi, but married. :)

I love to belly dance. Used to take classes but now just do it for fun and exercise.

Is this a trick question? ;)

Ha! I write Haiku for my blog sometimes. One AM O – M – G. No sleep. Cat puked on the floor again. Where’s my tax return? I had forgotten all about some of these! https://alienredqueen.wordpress.com/2013/01/23/weekday-blues-haiku/

I actually have OCD, and when I first started using MFP, I could see the potential for getting too obsessed with it. Since OCD can manifest in many ways, and when one anxiety is gone, your brain will basically find something else to worry about, what the obsession is specifically is usually not relevant. If I wasn't…

Plus, what really is the point of weighing everyday, especially if you "understand fluctuations?" You can't possibly lose a noticeable amount of weight that could not be attributable to water from one day to the very next so why do it more than once a week anyway?

I'm sure there are some...blueberries I think, for instance. But Oz is a charlatan. :/

No. Just, no. Of course it's fine to exercise when pregnant but doctors will usually advise you to keep to the same level of whatever you've been doing (ie: not more strenuous). Furthermore, there are no exercises that, by themselves, will help you lose fat; it comes to burning more calories than you take in. I don't know…

My plan for when I reach my goal is to either only log every other day, or to log all week and give myself free weekends. But you are right. I did the same thing.

I didn't know people did that to eggs. Eew. That's like...egg abuse. lol

Seems like it would compress the diaphram some and make a workout less efficient too, wouldn't it?

Am curious myself, TBH

Boston Roll and California roll are both pretty low cal choices, assuming you don't like to smother them in Yum Yum sauce like I do. XD.

I dunno. Spin around so I can see your butt. ;)

ons or date ...as long as he was legal ;)

lol... you can mitigate those effects though with more fiber and water, I think. :)

Sadly, right now all I hear is Powerpuff Girls... But, if I could be listening to music right now it would probably be Undertow (Tool.)

Well, if anyone is still following this, I tried it both ways. The wraps protected the skin and seemed to keep the hives subdued, but irritated me in their own right after a while. Once they were off, the hives got horrible, and , dang did my arms ache the next day, in more than just a "haven't played volleyball in a…

Is my question less valid because it's not (about weight lifting)? DO you have any reason for saying to wrap them? Well, at any rate I am out of time to figure it out. Thanks anyway.

Well, I don't actually own one at the mo', and I leave for vball literally in lie 25 minutes. lol :( But I get overheated easily so I am not really sure. Thanks for the idea though.

Pretty much. Some people, though well meaning (mostly), have no tact.

That is excellent progress for only three weeks!!!

Seems like a lot of these are about anticipating your partners needs...and then take it to a creepy level. . Reminds me of that guy in that Stephen King story , "I know what you need."
