  • lol, yep... same weight today. Guessing it was close to 1 lb of water weight that went out with the scotch. :-)
  • Another week has come and gone. I lost 6 lbs this week. Was a little scared since I drank a pint of scotch last night... Didn't seem to hurt my weigh-in though. :-)
  • Lol, great thread... I've had the same sorts of things happen so i'll change it up and tell a story about my oldest son. All the ex-football players should get a kick. He's 6'1" 240 lbs... oh ya and he's only 12 yrs old. Having never played organized football before because he was always too big for his age bracket he…
  • Lol, it will slow down soon enough... Only 41 days in at this point. Hopefully i'll get a few more weeks at 5-7 lb pace before that happens.
  • I'm down 7 for the week. Scale was 414.5 this morning. Goal is 399 by Oct 1st..
  • Ha.. Nice to find a corner on this site for big guys... Not just people looking to lose 25 lbs so they can post buff selfies on the forums non-stop. I'm 36, 6'2", and currently 419 lbs. Started trying to lose again on August 5th weighing in at my highest ever 450 lbs. I've always been a big guy. Hell, I've had the nickname…
  • 105 lbs in about 5.5 months.. guess thats 24 ish weeks at 4.4 lbs per. :-)
  • I'm the cook at my house, but in the mornings it's so crazy trying to help get the kids out the door for school I don't have time to fix something "healthy" for myself... Not with three school lunches to fix... My quick easy fix for lunch at least 4 days a week are the Tyson fully cooked chicken breasts. You get a bag of…
  • Weight by BMI(and the target weight associated with it) is a crock... The formula was originally created to measure a large GROUP of people not an individual... Shoot for a healthy % of body fat, being physically fit, and screw the scale. BMI is simply weight to height... doesn't take into account lean mass vs fat. None of…
  • I have that problem to... after a few too many shots of tequila...
  • Sad but true! I started at 425lbs about 4 months ago. It was 80lbs before anyone that didn't know I was trying said anything.
  • I started 4 months ago. You have to really want it and find a way of eating/living you can stick with.. I went Primal. Check out Mark's Daily Apple. Lot of info. I do let myself have one "reward" meal a month. Spend the rest of the month dreaming about it! lol For me it was just about finally getting to that tipping point…
  • 6'2" goal weight is 225- 215(ish).
  • After 3 kids and losing weight my wife complains about hers all the time... But they still make me smile every time I see them... and my smile is just as big as it was when we were 20!!!!!!!
  • Wow. My first post! I'm going to have lots of "extra" skin as well once I get to my goal(ish) weight. I'm a BIG cat... at 6'2" and highest weight was 425 lbs, but have lost 86 lbs over the last 4 months. I know the damage is done to my skin and it will never be the same (no matter what some people claim). All those stretch…
