Try to eat whole grain bread instead of white; my doctor advised - don't eat anything white - rice, bread or potatoes because the starch they contain turns to sugar inyour body.

Check with your doctor 1st. Diet pills can raise your blood pressure & if u have a bp problem use caution. Step up your activity level & take the healthier route.

Hi, just wanted to let you know I weighed at the doctor's yesterday and I lost 3 pounds! I've noticed my stomach's shrinking and I'm starting to eat smaller portions. Cool, huh? I love this site. :heart:

age: 60 height: 4'10" weight: 220 I review my calorie intake and am slowly changing my diet. My original goal of 1250 has been reduced to 1200. I haven't lost a pound yet, but hopefully will in the future. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

I'm starting to eat more vegetables because they're generally lower in calories. I look at them occasionally for inspiration. I also look at my landlord, who is very obese & diabetic, who eats sugar, sugar sugar, and has one foot in the grave as a result. Other people doing good or bad, inspire me to try harder.
