Great story. Just what I needed to hear today. Congratulations - and thank you.

Welcome back. A bump in the road from which you recover by coming back to this site and continuing to try is not a failure at all.

Awesome post. Very motivational. Keep up the great work.

I always wonder this in general with my HRM. If it says that I burned say 900 calories, do I need to deduct the number of calories already accounted for by my general lifestyle since MFP is doing that when it gives me my caloric goals?

Been there, done that, and don't plan to do it again. Twenty-three years ago I lost over 100 pounds by dieting - the Pritikin Diet that time. Over the years, the weight would come back on 20 or 30 pounds at a time. I'd try to take it back off by dieting - 1200 Calorie Diabetic Diet, Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet, etc. -…

That sandwich, plus about 3 cups of water, keeps me full until lunch time. The calorie cost - 138…

I'm taking a trip to Goodwill to get rid of all of the fat clothes I have always saved "just in case" as I've rollercoastered my way through weight loss in the past.

Laughing Cow is great stuff. I had it this morning spread on two pieces of light toast with a scrambled egg beater on it. I only needed half the wedge and I got plenty of flavor all for only 165 calories. And it has stuck with me all morning. Very satisfying.
