Strangely enough I have a similar problem. When I am stressed I tend to average 3-4 hours sleep a night and then once a fortnight I crash for 12 hours. Apparently if I am really stressed I even manage to sleepwalk and talk in those 3-4 hours. I havent ever found a cure for it apart from to just let it happen. I've been…

Tarantulas, cockroaches, grasshoppers and a chocolate covered scorpion... and those are only the ones I know about. Traveled extensively and in some places I havent been game to ask what's on my plate!

How;s this for motivation? On the upside: I've been doing MFP for 3 months. I've lost a ton of weight since I started it. I've been walking 5 miles a day and watching what I eat (and that's it). I met some friends today that I hadnt seen in 3 months. The husband was staring straight at me and didnt recognise me. We went…

As an Aussie living in London, I add an extra milestone... Kilograms :) So I celebrate at each 10lbs, each stone and each 5kg mark. It's great and provides so much more motivation!

My closest friends comment on my weight loss. Some of them have been telling me how proud they are of me. It's nice to hear. One of them suggested that I go to the grocery store and put together the amount of weight I have lost in packets of butter so that I could understand it myself. I did! She also suggested I get a…

Some friends came to London from New Orleans a couple of years ago and gave me a chain with a Fleur de Lis pendant on it. I never wore it because it was so tight around my neck that it was choking me. I was sure they thought I didnt appreciate it but that wasnt true. I just felt so uncomfortable wearing it. Anyway... put…

Gym? I havent been to one of those for about 20 years! I have one in my apartment block but have never been in it. What's worked for me is walking, the occasional wii game (ie Jillian Michaels or Step to the Beat also called Work it Out in the US) but mostly the walking and my fitbit. I am pretty strict with my calorie…

Well that's a lovely homophobic comment!

I don't know... I think it is a brilliant idea. Let's face it, not everyone is going to be able to build up great pecs and sometimes mother nature needs a bit of a helping hand. It works for women, why not for men?

I dont count anything except steps from my fitbit. That's it!

Wow... You didnt mean to be judgemental and then you made another judgement! I live in the UK. Maybe you'd like to tell me what sort of person that makes me when I go to McDonalds which I do on occasions? Anyway.... barely losing weight? I have had the same issues as you. I was ill to start with and dropped a lot of weight…

As an IT geek, I would steer clear of the iphone. Battery life is terrible! I used one for a month before I sent it back. I fail to understand why anyone wants one of these things. It USED to be because Apple had all the apps but that is no longer the case as Google Play is brilliant now. If you want my recommendation, go…

Hi there Yep - like you I always had excuses not to do anything but I changed my tune... I got sick, lost a bit of weight, people kept telling me how good I looked so I ordered a fitbit and have been using that and MFP for the past 3 weeks to keep me motivated. So far I am enjoying it and I look for ways to walk. With MFP…
