Okay! So here are the guidelines for this challenge: We will follow Zuzana's Workout schedule on BodyRock.TV and for "New Workouts" I will select an optional workout from the past workout archive and you may choose to complete that one or the new one (reason for this is sometimes the new workout isn't posted by the time I…

Maybe other chemicals your consume are effecting your hormones. Do you drink diet soda and consume artificial sweeteners? Do you chew sugar free gum? All of these contain aspertame which has a dangerous effect on your body and endocrine system (hormones) Also, too much caffine raises your blood insulin levels. Try to limit…

Hey! I just went through this post and requested friendship with everyone that replied. I just read Mark Sissons new book and it made so much sense to me. I was eating Primal for two weeks when I visited my parents for a week and fell of the wagon. I am trying to get back on on the 25th and commit to the primal/low carb…

Go to classes at a gym or buy DVDs....when I'm having trouble getting motivation to exercise I do one or the other and let the instructor do the thinking while I do the moving. If you're just starting out, you don't need to exercise intensely, even just walking more will help you achieve your goal.

This is the motivation I need!! I'm in!

Sounds like you are busy. I found a website that helps me because I don't have much time between two jobs and a family. Its called BodyRock.tv and there are 12-30 minute intense workouts posted weekly. Its a very motivating website. The creators encourage working out at home only using your body weight. I have been trying…

OMG girl! You are a prime example of how LBS don't necessarily always show your progress. If you don't mind me asking. What was your diet like?

WOW! Your story is so inspiring! Too bad summer is over because you need to get into a bikini girl! Congradulations on taking control of your health and your life!

Hey Janice, I feel you on that. Its so hard for me to stay at 1300 calories a day. Does anyone have advice? I eat veggies and good proteins...my problem is that sometimes I don't have the discipline or willpower. Thanks!

Yes, your EX is right on. I do not try to go over my calorie goal. I try to eat 1200 on days I don't exercise and a little more on days I do (like your example). However, this is my weakness. On Tuesday, for example I didn't want to eat that many calories, but when I get home at night I immediately reach for some…

Hey all, I think tracking weight loss is important, but if we really want to look good in our swimsuits we have to see the inces come off! I think a good MOTIVATIONAL challenge will be for everyone to go out and buy a measuring tape by Friday, if you done already have one, and on Friday, February 25th everyone record their…

I kicked *kitten* today, but I had to in order to make up for eating 2,000 calories. I still finished the day at 200 above my 1200 goal but I feel good because I knew I had to make up for eating so much, so at 9:30pm I bundled up and got my butt out the door to run. It felt great once I got going. I love my city. It snowed…

Hey! Can you believe its almost March already! I swear to myself that I will not let another spring pass by without getting to my goal weight. I am with you guys. How do you want to do this? State our goals? Weekly challenges? I'm fairly new to MFP but I've been exploring the blogs and I like the idea of challenges and…

Okay, this is my first MFP challenge ever! I need the motivation! Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: 445 (50 mins of spinning and 35 minutes of yoga) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)…

Its so great that you have your sister as a support system and buddy to get fit. If you have the money to, join a gym (like the Y) and take advantage of the classes. I know it is a lot easier for me to actually GO when i have someone going with me. And whats more is you have fun the same time you are blasting away…
